Mission walkthrough

Your duties during the course of the mission:

Your first objective will be to provide your base with the main building. You'll also need to summon certain types of units. After that, you will have to build a large army in order to escort Orlok to the transmitter. The final phase of the mission will require you to take out his biggest adversary.

Detailed mission walkthrough:

First objective: Build an Arrival Site

This is going to be the final mission of the Hierarchy campaign. Don't worry, because it won't be as nearly as difficult as the last mission of the Novus campaign. You shouldn't have any major problems creating the main structure, summoning the units and collecting resources, as long as you plan everything correctly and as long as you protect your most precious units. You'll start the mission without any buildings or Walkers, however this isn't a serious problem. I would recommend acting quickly by moving back all allied units. At the moment they're running to the east, however they would die, so you will have to order them to retreat. There's also a single Walker to the east, but it's going to get destroyed and you can't prevent that from happening. Ignore its destruction, especially since you'll build your own Walkers very soon. Make sure that your army (including Orlok) is stationed somewhere near the lower left corner of the map. That's where you'll have to set up your base. Select a Glyph Carver unit and build the Arrival Site building. Place this object as far away from the road as possible (screen). Now you will only have to wait for the Glyph Carver to finish summoning it.

Second objective: Escort Orlok to the transmitter and activate it - Mission 6 - part 1 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Second objective: Escort Orlok to the transmitter and activate it

Ignore this objective, because for the next 15-25 minutes you'll be focused only on summoning new units and acquiring resources. Your first step will be to summon the basic unit of the Hierarchy organization. Obviously this is going to be a Reaper Drone. Summon at least three of those. You should also click on the Arrival Site building in order to create a second Glyph Carver. This will allow you to speed up some of the summoning actions. Your Reaper Drones will focus their attention on some of the nearby structures, so you won't have to grant them with any kind of protection right away. I would recommend summoning a Detection Drone and placing it somewhere in the back. You can also use a monolith unit and send it to the north. This would allow you to find new resources (3 on the map).

You should notice that a Masari ship has appeared on the map - Mission 6 - part 1 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You should notice that a Masari ship has appeared on the map. Don't worry, because you won't get attacked. Prince Zessus will try helping you from now on. You won't be allowed to control him or his troops, however he should automatically follow Orlok wherever he goes, so it won't be a problem. He's quite powerful and his units are also very helpful, so his presence will make this mission a lot easier. As for your structures, I would recommend summoning at least two Spitter Turrets, so you won't have to worry about the safety of your main building. You could also focus on building a stronger army, instead of purchasing turrets. The choice is yours, however it's extremely important that you summon the first Walker as soon as possible. I would recommend choosing a Habitat Walker from the list. Place the glyph somewhere to the west of the base, however don't move it too close to the central area of the map, because you can't go there right now. You may also summon a second Walker if you have enough resources. This time you should choose an Assembly Walker. Place the second glyph somewhere to the north of your base.

You will probably have to defend yourself against a few attacks in just a few minutes - Mission 6 - part 1 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You will probably have to defend yourself against a few attacks in just a few minutes. An enemy base can be found to the north of your current location, so obviously you will have to guard the northern passageway. You will also have to send your Reaper Drones to the north, because there are a lot of resources out there (screen). I would recommend sending Orlok there as well, because he'll be able to protect the drones, especially with prince Zessus at his side. You should be able to continue your expansion without any other interruptions, because Orlok and Zessus will guard the road leading directly to your base. Also, you shouldn't be attacked by any air units.

Now you should start equipping your Walkers with new modules - Mission 6 - part 1 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Now you should start equipping your Walkers with new modules. You'll be allowed to choose between a larger number of components, however you won't have to spend a lot of time trying to decide what's best for your current situation. As for the Habitat Walker, you should really consider buying one of the new pods in order to be able to summon much stronger Brute units. You won't have much use of the Lost One pods, not unless you plan on using them to repel air attacks. As for the Assembly Walker, it would be a good idea to buy a component which will allow you to build Defiler units. You'll need them, especially for the final battle of the mission. I would also recommend buying a lot of armor plates and plasma turrets. Acquire the necessary funds to summon the third Walker. You can choose to have a second mech of the same type, however acquiring a Science Walker will make this mission more interesting. Don't forget to buy Cascade Reactor hardpoints for your Science Walker. Doing this will allow you to unlock the most powerful attack of this mech unit. It's going to be a large wave which I'm sure you still remember from the final mission of the Novus campaign. Sadly, you will have to buy all three reactors. Having one or two of them isn't good enough.
