Mission 2 - part 3 | Hierarchy UaW: EA Guide

Last update: 11 May 2016

You will probably encounter at least three enemy structures along the way. Neutralize them as soon as possible, as they're capable of manufacturing new units. Doing this will cripple enemy production, at least for the surrounding area. Two of these buildings are capable of manufacturing vehicles and the remaining one is for standard troops. Also, one of these factories is to the north-east of the main target, so you probably won't find it right away. Try eliminating everything that stands in your way. Don't leave anything or anyone behind. It shouldn't be too difficult, especially if you decide to choose Orlok for this task. As for your Walker, it should be moving towards the first facility (3 on the map).

Your main target building (screen) is going to be guarded by a small group of enemy units - Mission 2 - part 3 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Your main target building (screen) is going to be guarded by a small group of enemy units. As you've probably noticed, you'll also be dealing with a small number of Novus tanks. You won't have to prepare for this battle. Just make sure that all your units have engaged enemy forces, including the Walker. Once you've neutralized enemy targets, focus only on destroying the missile facility. It should only take a few seconds, especially if your Walker has used its powerful plasma turrets. Now you will have to start moving north in order to get closer to the second facility. You'll also encounter an enemy structure along the way (the one I was telling you about earlier). I would recommend sending your Reaper Drones to the southern section of the map. If you've secured this area, they shouldn't encounter any additional problems. Allow them to begin gathering resources. Your Reaper Drones should also be on a look out for extra valuable stashes (supplied by the military). If you're not feeling too comfortable sending them alone, leave a few grounds units or monoliths near them.

Sixth objective: Destroy the western missile facility - Mission 2 - part 3 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Sixth objective: Destroy the western missile facility

Seventh objective: Destroy the northern missile facility

Remember that there's no rush. You won't have to assault the remaining two facilities right away. Instead, use the free time to summon more units. Thankfully, you should have a Habitat Walker somewhere near the first (destroyed) target, so your troops won't have to travel all the way to the west to reach your main army. You should also remember that you can always exchange existing modules for something else. Acquire a Lost One Pod if you don't have it. Either way, try reaching the maximum population camp by summoning Lost One & Grunt units. Move up north. You should be able to reach a small junction (screen). The nearby road leads directly to the western facility (4 on the map). Wait for the Walker to get here before you decide to assault enemy positions.

I would recommend that you divide your army into two smaller groups - Mission 2 - part 3 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

I would recommend that you divide your army into two smaller groups. The second facility is being guarded by a lot of enemy units. You will have to watch out especially for Amplifier tanks (screen). You've been able to test them before (during the course of the Novus campaign), so you should remember that they're very efficient against slow targets. As a result, leave your Walker behind and allow the main army to take out the tanks. Once they're gone, assault the main base. Your standard units should take care of other buildings, such as factories. As for the main missile facility, your Walker should be able to destroy by itself. Once this is done, wait here for at least a few seconds. Summon more units in order to regain full strength.

Make sure that you have a large army at your disposal - Mission 2 - part 3 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Make sure that you have a large army at your disposal. The final missile facility can be found to the north-east, so that's where you'll need to move your troops. You shouldn't have any major problems finding a correct route to your destination since there's only one large road here. At first you'll only encounter a few enemy units, however gradually you'll be dealing with larger groups. Don't worry, because your troops will handle almost anything. Don't forget to destroy buildings along the way (screen) in order to prevent your enemy from manufacturing more units.

Finding the northern facility is going to be fairly easy - Mission 2 - part 3 - Hierarchy - Universe at War: Earth Assault - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Finding the northern facility is going to be fairly easy. Just as before, you will have to deal with a much larger group of enemy units. Focus mostly on destroying Amplifier units (screen), because they can hurt your stronger units. You won't have to divide your army into smaller groups, because this is the final battle of the mission. Instead, use Orlok's ability and aim at one of the groups of Amplifier tanks. You should also wait for one of your Walkers to get here. Remember that you don't have to destroy any of the surrounding buildings. Focus only on finding and destroying the third missile facility (5 on the map). Doing this will allow you to proceed with the next mission of the Hierarchy campaign. You'll also be rewarded with a new cut-scene during which you'll be introduced to a completely new faction.
