Incomplete Charcoal Rubbing (Aurora Spire)

The map above represents Halfgate. This location will become available after finishing the quests on The Disfavored side in Burning Library in the second act. The quests that are available in this location are optional, but you can take them before you begin to play as one of The Disfavored in the Stone Sea region. It's because the locations that are connected with those quests are the same for the quests related to Conquest. In Halfgate you'll learn about important information related to the storyline, but you'll also find some treasures which are highlighted on the map.

The note for this location is divided into two sections: the first part describes the situation when Scarlet Chorus' soldiers are in this region, the second is useful when all of the members of said fraction were eliminated by you.

Scarlet Chorus

Enemies in Halfgate

Scarlet Chorus - various forces of Chorus. Soldiers inflict high amount of damage, but are very vulnerable to attacks.

Rancor - you'll find her in the center of the location. She commands the biggest group that you have to defeat in this location. She's very easy to defeat by focusing your party's attacks on her. She is a dual-wielder and deals a lot of damage.

Jani the Reaver - she's the leader of the first group that you will encounter. Easy to intimidate which will cause her to leave this place but if your attributes aren't high enough you'll have to face her squad.

Misery - the strongest enemy here. Unlike other members of Chorus, he's tough and can deal a lot of damage.

After freeing the city

This will trigger another side quest - Search and Rescue. You can also ask him about the Spires in the Stone Sea. He'll reveal that one of them is near Howling Rock.
