Here you'll find a stolen supplies (Forge-Bound Iron quest). To get inside: use Subterfuge (39), Athletic (34) or convince Old Man Mua to give you a key. Also you can kill him and take it yourself. But first, deal with Matani Sybil.
You can fight her or make her escape. If you want to fight, you must defeat not only Matani, but also her men. Fight is not easy.
Man holds a key to the house next to him, where the Iron has been stashed. He appears after you deal with Matani Sybil.

Echocall Village M6 - description and map Tyranny Guide

The map above depicts the Echocall Village, the location where you'll continue the main plot related to the mission Kyros' Edict. This is where you'll be completing tasks associated with main and side quests, as well as find some treasure chests.

Quests in Echocall Village

Main quest: The Battle of Echocall Crossing - the quest will appear in your journal after you complete the quest Conqueror's Will. More information on the latter can be found in dedicated chapters.

Side quest: Forge-Bound Iron - the quest will be given by the smith - Isotanis - in the Disfavored camp. Your objective is to get back chests with iron, which can be found somewhere in Echocall Village. Proceed to the chapter dedicated to the quest to learn more.

NPCs in Echocall Village

Antio and Bitter Quip - commanders of Kyros' armies at Echocall Crossing. They will appear right after you've completed the final stage of The Battle of Echocall Crossing quest. Your conversation with them will decide the fate of the rebel leader Matani Sybil, as well as the fate of the whole Echocall Village and its inhabitants.

Old Man Mua - villager. He's directly related to the quest Forge-Bound Iron. Your decisions throughout this quest will decide fate of the old man. More information can be found in dedicated chapter.

Enemies in Echocall Village

Matani Sybil - commands the defense of Echocall Crossing. Her fate will be decided in the final stage of the quest The Battle of Echocall Crossing. More detail can be found in dedicated chapter.

Vendrien Guards - includes melee and ranged units as well as mages. Dangerous in larger groups. In the last stage of the quest The Battle of Echocall Crossing they will be using iron equipment, significantly boosting their health and damage.

Travel options from Echocall Village

From Echocall Village you can move to any other place on the map, assuming you had it marked on your map before. Depending on your decision concerning the fate of the village, you may either be able to return at any time or the village will be unavailable until the end of the game. Regardless of your decision, remember that entering the village is possible only through the Echocall Crossing.
