One Last Chance

You will receive this task only if Cormic got alerted during [The Candidate] or ran away in [The Hunt].
Lexington will give you the judge candidate's address (M23:25). Your task is to simulate a burglary. After getting to the residence, go inside. You will be attacked by one of the guards. Locate Prescott in his room and kill him.
Search the lockers for any precious items which could suggest a burglary. Eventually you will find the Cormic house crest - take it and leave the residence. The crest is very precious, so you can't just hang around the city with it. Head to the pier (M23:26) and throw it into the sea.
You will unlock [Lexington's Reward].
Lexington's Reward
After killing Prescott Cormic, return to your employer to gather your prize. Depending on in which mission you've killed him, you will receive one of the two rewards.
Ending 1
If you've killed Cormic on the Bright Beach, without scaring him and letting him run away ([The Hunt]), you will receive 50000 auras, Lexington's summer residence (M23:28) and a 10000 auras credit for dice games in the "Lion".
You can stash you items inside Lexington's summer residence without having to worry about losing any of them (if you can't carry anymore, it's a good place to store them).
Ending 2
If you've killed Cormic at the second approach, in [One Last Chance], you will receive only 25000 auras.
A Prayer For The Dead
Received from: Steria [New Ashos] (M23:20)
When only you enter the merchant area, you will be waylaid by an old woman, who will ask you to pray with her for her dead husband Balin. Follow the man to the spot nearby town (M23:21) and begin praying. After a while Balin will come back to life - it will turn out that Steria has been setting traps for men and then sacrificed them to monster. If you don't want to become a free snack, get rid of the monster.
