The village is suffering of starvation, the villagers even began eating horses - Veterinarian practice | Quests - Bayan - Quests - Bayan - Two Worlds II Game Guide

The village is suffering of starvation, the villagers even began eating horses. You can give Alima a hand and receive a horse in return. The animal is sick and you have to help in preparing a cure for it - you need some mint roots. You will be directed to the nearby valley (M3:9), where you will find ostriches - they feed on these plants. You have to kill them all. The animals aren't very demanding, you shouldn't have problems with exterminating them. After collecting the roots, return to Alima (M3:2).

You will learn how to prepare potions (alchemy ability will be unlocked) - Veterinarian practice | Quests - Bayan - Quests - Bayan - Two Worlds II Game Guide

You will learn how to prepare potions (alchemy ability will be unlocked). Open the appropriate tab in the inventory (alchemy pot icon) and choose the mint roots. Add at least three roots - however the more you add, the more powerful the potion will be. You can save the recipe for later so you'll be able to prepare it faster. Give Alima the prepared laxative. In return you will be given the horse.

You will unlock [Starvation].
