Paladin upgrades are very expensive so, at first, buy only the most important ones

There are, relatively, few improvements for the mobile command center but, with the cost ranging from several tens, to several hundred thousand dollars, each one of them is very expensive. As a result, I recommend that you consider carefully buying each upgrade and at the beginning of the game, unlock only the ones that have a definite bearing on the game. A full list of upgrades and their descriptions have been presented in the table below.

Upgrade category

Level

Upgrade type and commentary

Cockpit

1

A radar of the range of 10 meters. Try to obtain this one as quickly as possible because it will considerably help you monitor the enemy actions

Cockpit

2

A radar of the range of 20 meters + facing direction. Also this one (although it's expensive) should be bought as soon as possible. It will especially come in handy while exploring vast areas.

Charlie's workshop

1

Unlocks the prototype sub-machine gun and shotgun. As a matter of fact, you acquire this upgrade to gain access to the second level of the workshop

Charlie's Workshop

2

Unlocks the prototype pistol, assault rifle and sniper rifle. The best variations of the pistols and rifles will be very useful, assuming that you are going to use these on a regular basis, of course.

Command& Control

1

Shows the whereabouts of Dead Drops on the radar. You can ignore this kind of improvement if you are going to play the game with adherence to this guide, because the walkthrough includes the information on the whereabouts of collectibles.

Command& Control

2

Displays the whereabouts of all collectibles at a longer range. Just like above, you need to decide whether you want to use this guide or discover the collectibles on your own.

Infirmary

1

A faster health regeneration. If you are going to play basing on the Ghost style, you can ignore this upgrade because you won't be taking part in direct confrontations. Otherwise unlock both levels as soon as possible.

Infirmary

2

Very fast health regenerations.

Crew Quarters

1

Unlocks a custom loadout slot. Buying this upgrade isn't a priority, especially if you have nothing against the careful selection of equipment before you start a mission

Crew Quarters

2

Unlocks one more slot for custom loadout.

Holding Cell

1

Unlocks 7 black market weapons for purchase. Contrary to what it may seem, it isn't useful because you get better weapons by upgrading Charlie's Workshop

Holding Cell

2

Unlocks another 7 black market weapons.

Cargo Bay

1

Gives the opportunity to change your gear during a mission. If you are playing on the Perfectionist level, you can ignore it because this won't work anyways. Otherwise, consider buying this upgrade before you take to the optional missions.
