Scene 1 – South Hall
Scene walkthrough:
Just as before, this mission is going to begin on board of an allied gunship. Thankfully, you won’t have to worry about the helicopter being attacked by anyone, so you may as well enjoy the ride. You should be able to reach your destination in about a minute. Use the rope (screen) to get to the roof of the first building. Obviously you should consider waiting for your colleagues to get here. You can also inspect nearby equipment crates.
It would be a good idea to follow instructions which you have been given by your allies. I wouldn’t recommend using any ropes, because it would be very risky to try and breach in the first area through the windwows. Instead, proceed towards a nearby door. You can either use the ropes here (screen) and you can head on to the stairs. Either way, proceed to the lower level.
Approach a new door carefully and open it. One of the enemy snipers is patrolling this floor and it’ll be up to you to neutralize him (screen). Once this is done, order your men to get closer to the balustrade. Join them and start eliminating other enemy soldiers.
You will have to be ready for more enemy units to arrive here. The terrorists will probably surprise you by using the stairs and they’ll keep popping up to your right. Prevent them from reaching a good cover (screen), because that would mean having to spend more time trying to get rid of them. Thankfully, you’ll only have to take out 2-4 soldiers.
Obviously you won’t be able to kill all the terrorists from this highest balcony, so sooner or later you’ll have to make a decision to head on to the lower level. Go to your right and keep moving forward until you’ve reached the stairs. Head on to the lower level, BUT watch out for a single terrorist who should be hiding to your left (screen). Once he’s gone, allow your team members to move forward. Your colleagues should be able to take out all the remaining targets.
You will have to make sure that the ground level has been secured. Order your men to go there and join them after a short while. Now you will have to act quickly. Send your teammates somewhere to your left and hide behind a large object (screen). More enemy soldiers are heading your way. They’re well-armed, so you should consider using grenades and choosing longer bursts to kill them before they get too close.
