[FINAL LEVEL] Bolivia – The Looking Glass
Additional information: The final mission of the game is going to be very short. At first, you will have to deal with a small group of enemy soldiers. After that, you will proceed to the final boss fight. Thankfully, you shouldn’t be worried about it too much, especially since you have a very powerful sword. Nevertheless, you should be using medkits from time to time. You won’t need them anymore...
Start off by watching an interesting cutscene (#1, #2). Lara will once again show up in the temple located in Bolivia. You’ve already visited this site during the first mission of the game. This time we’ll stay here for much longer...
Once you’ve regained a full control over Lara’s movements, start killing all of the nearby soldiers (#1, #2). You should be using the newly acquired Excalibur sword. Thankfully, the weapon is very powerful. You won’t have any problems eliminating your opponents. You will only have to watch out for enemy grenades.
Once you’ve dealt with all enemy units, a second cut-scene should appear on the screen (#1, #2). Lara will finally face off with Amanda. This time she won’t be able to escape anywhere. Get ready for the final fight of the game!!
The final boss fight is separated to two different stages. The first one is by far the more challenging one. First of all, you will have to avoid most of the attacks (#1). I would recommend using pillars for extra cover. You should also be making a lot of jumps. Sadly, you can’t be in a defensive position all the time. Use the Excalibur to send bursts of energy towards the boss (#2). A successful hit will surely wound the creature.
A wounded boss will land on the ground somewhere. Start running towards the creature. You should see a yellow icon above it (#1). It means that you can proceed to the second stage. Get closer to the boss and press the E key in order to wound it even more (#2).
You will have to repeat these action several times (#1). The most difficult part of the fight involves evading most of the attacks. The rest is very simple and you shouldn’t have any major problems. Once the bar is completely gone, proceed with the final blow (#2).
Well... this is it. Sit back and enjoy the ending (#1-#4). The movie will involve several interesting things. Some of them will be left unexplained. Let’s just hope that there’s going to be a sequel.
