Ghana - part II  (14/39)

Now you will have to reach a small ladder (#1). Make a jump towards it. You shouldn’t have any problems with that. Start moving upwards. There’a a second ladder in the new room (it’s on your left). Use it. Once you’re at the top, make a jump towards the left ledge (#2). You should know exactly what has to be done by now. Keep moving towards the left side of the screen.

You should be able to reach a new ladder within a just a few seconds (#1). Start moving towards the top floor. Once you’re there, keep moving forward. You should be able to reach a new cavern very soon. Don’t think about jumping down just yet. There’s a tiger out there (#2). It would be wise to take care of this problem from here.

You will find yourself inside a huge cavern. You will have to solve the main puzzle of this level here. Thankfully, it’ll be rather easy. Start off by heading towards the stairs. They are located on your left (#1). Climb up to the new platform. You should be standing by some stone blocks (#2). They are hanging from the roof.

The following jumps are quite difficult. It may be hard to figure out what has to be done here. The stones are forming some kind of a weighing machine. By lowering one of them, you make the other one go higher. You will have to use that to your advantage. Wait for the right time and make a jump towards the second stone (#1). You CAN’T do this too early or you won’t be able to make a second jump. This time you will have to reach a nearby ladder (#2).

Once you’re at the top, a short cut-scene will appear on the screen. It will give some clue on what has to be done in the near future. Start moving forward. You will have to reach a nearby ledge (#1). Start moving towards the right side of the pillar. Now you will have to start pressing the F key in order to get back to the lower floor. There’s a metal platform here (#2). Use it.

Activate the grapple in order to get the metal platform moving. That’s not all. The second highlighted pillar is going to be located on your left (#1). You will have to pull the rope in order to reach the new platform. Make a jump towards it. There’s a ladder here. Use it (#2). Once you’re at the top, make a jump towards the stones. Just as before, you will have to use them to your advantage.

Make a double jump. Thanks to that, Lara will start swinging on the rope. Make sure you’re in a correct spot before you decide to jump to the new platform (#1). Now you will have to jump to a nearby ledge. Start moving towards the right edge of the screen. You will have to make a few jumps along the way. The last one will allow you to reach a new platform (#2). Be careful, though. It’s very easy to fall down!

You’ve just reached the main area of the cavern. Here’s where all of the mechanisms are located. Start off by standing on the left tile. Thanks to that, you will get rid of a huge stone (#1). Leave the tile and start running towards the opposite end of the cavern. As you’ve probably suspected, you will have to place a stone on the right tile (#2).

You can go back to the left tile now (choose the same path). Stand on it in order to activate part of the mechanism (#1). Now you will have a few seconds to get back to the main statue. Stand in front of it and use the grapple in order to lower its hands (#2). Thanks to that, you will solve the whole puzzle. Furthermore, you will be rewarded with a short cut-scene.

Same here, I was fast enough: I was standing just front the statue, arms was still open, using grapple..nothing happend! I´m stuck! This part of the game is really hard... Hope I have some luck, ´cos I think nothing else doesn´t help me out of this situation anymore. I´ve got this fine hint from this site, thank you for that, but this is not fun anymore;)
