I'm giving food to poor, although I don't have much myself.

Very often while playing the game your morality will be tested and you will have to make decisions of very ugly consequences. For example, while exploring some ruins you will meet a man that will beg you for food without giving anything in exchange. It will be only up to you whether you help him or not. If you won't help him, the game won't give you any penalty for it, but it might affect your personal feeling and conscience.

Okay, that might have been too much..

While not giving someone food isn't a crime, murder is a different thing. But what can one do, when supplies are shrinking, group members are injured and dying and all that you have left is an axe? You could travel to some not yet explored locations, but risk is too great. Left with no other choices, you must attack the church. The priest, the followers - they will all die, but your survival chances will greatly increase. A terrifying vision, but quite realistic. Whether it happen or not depends only on individual action of players and their own morality.

All actions influence the mental health of characters.

Actions that deteriorate the mental health:

  1. Hideout raid;
  2. Watching their friends die;
  3. Death of a member of the group;
  4. A member leaving the group;
  5. Suffering of hunger;
  6. Suffering of wounds;
  7. Suffering of illness;
  8. No cigarettes (if the character is a smoker);
  9. Refusing to help your neighbors (you can't help if you have only one character or a character and a child);
  10. Refusing to help others in visited locations;
  11. Stealing from unarmed civilians;
  12. Killing unarmed civilians;
  13. Murders.

Actions that improve mental health:

  1. Helping your neighbors;
  2. Helping others in visited locations;
  3. Getting drunk and going to sleep;
  4. Refusing to take part in robbery of your neighbors;
  5. Comforting a sad member of the group (some characters are better at this);
  6. Feeding by other members of the group.
