True cooperation - not a single person is idle.

The storyline is set in modern conflict zone, where war has influenced lives of civilians. During the game, you will control few of the city citizens, which, through cooperation and persistence, will try to survive in dangerous world they live in. After you begin the game (there is only one mode available with absence of option to save game whenever we want, which makes loading the game before making some mistake impossible) you start in a ruined, multi-storey tenement house, where you obtain control of three characters. The world is shown in a two-dimensional perspective. You control your characters only by using the mouse, keyboard is not needed, similar to other games that use point-and-click mechanism. After a short tutorial, the clock on the interface will show you a morning hour and you will have to quickly make some first steps... that is, if you want to survive. The day ends at 8:00 p.m. and time runs very, very quickly. It is important to learn how to control all of your characters simultaneously. It might be tricky at the beginning, but you should quickly learn how to give orders to different characters at the same time. First, you should send some people to different floors of the tenement, then order them to do some action by clicking on a specific action symbol (graphical circle that floats over some element with which character can get into interaction). Some examples of actions are searching through the bureau or opening a blocked door. Since it is your first day in new environment, the whole place hasn't been explored and searched for useful items yet. Before the night falls, you should find every useful item available and make a good use of it.

Some rooms and lockers are not available at the beginning of the game. For example, without a crowbar or lock pick it is impossible to open a closed door or armored wardrobe. Crowbar and lock pick can be obtained by crafting (which will be detailed later) or through exploration during the night (also detailed later). You can remove rubble since the beginning of the game, but it is far quicker and easier once you find or create a shovel. Moving through different floors of the building is very easy. Although to open doors you must use a specific action symbol, it is not required to manually open every single door in our path. For example, if you click on the floor on the highest floor, your character will go there using any path available (double click makes your character run, but it doesn't speed up any action!). He will automatically open any doors and climb a ladder (which doesn't have action symbol), but will stop in front of a field obstacle, even if he has equipment that would allow him to remove it. More complicated actions can be ordered only if character faces a problem directly. Every action requires some time. It is shown by a special indicator, which gradually surrounds the action circle with an orange glow. Every action can be cancelled and continued later in the same day without losing the progress.
