Chapter 8 | Scenario 1 Sims Life Stories Guide

This new chapter should begin the very next day at around noon (or after work, if it's not the weekend). Start off by taking good care of your main character (#1). You will have to make sure that Riley's needs have been satisfied. Thankfully, it shouldn't be much of a problem. You should receive a call very soon. Answer the phone, either by clicking on Riley or using a stationery phone that should be located somewhere in your living room. Fiona will tell you the big news (#2) - Mickey and Agora are getting married! Sadly, you won't be able to do anything about this at the moment. Wait for the first mission objective to appear on your screen.

Goal: Call Dylan (+250 Aspiration)

Our main character decides to go shopping with Dylan, so she'll be able to forget about what happened with Mickey. Start off by using one of your phones. You will have to call Dylan (#1). Make sure that you've selected him from the new menu (#2).

Wait for the new window to pop up on your screen. You will have to choose Talk (#1), instead of Invite Over, because that wouldn't do you much good. Sadly, you won't be able to go out with Dylan (#2). He will inform you that he has a lot of work. As a result, Riley decides to go there on her own.

Goal: Go to the Corner Boutique (+500 Aspiration)

You should know exactly what has to be done here, mostly because you've visited community lots before. Start off by calling a cab. You will have to choose The Corner Boutique (#1) for your next destination. Wait for the game to load a new map (#2). Riley will automatically start moving towards a nearest shop. Don't interrupt her, because that's where we'll need to go.

Goal: Try on different outfits (+750 Aspiration)

Riley doesn't have enough money to buy new clothes. As a result, she decided to try on several different outfits. You will have to choose two outfits for her. Start off by clicking on the clothes. You will have to choose Try on and one of the available actions (#1). It doesn't really matter what you choose here. Next, she will go to the dressing room (#2). You will have to be patient, because this will take some time. Once this is done, repeat these actions with the second outfit. Just as before, you can pick whatever you want to.

Goal: Fight with Dylan (+1000 Aspiration)

Once you've completed the previous objective, you can leave the boutique. Riley will notice that Dylan is on a date with Ashley (#1). As a result, our main character decides to end this short relationship. Start off by moving closer to Dylan and Ashley (#2).

You will have to open the action menu. Head on to the Fight section. After that, choose Attack (#1). You will have to wait for this fight to end. It'll take some time, so you may consider speeding up a little. Listen to what Dylan has to say (#2). You will be able to proceed with the next mission objective in a short while.

Goal: Buy clothes for 2000 Simoleons (+500 Aspiration)

Riley will notice that Dylan has lost his wallet during the fight. You will be rewarded with 2000 Simoleons. Our main character decides to spend this money on new clothes. Start off by going back to the main boutique area. You will have to click on the clothes once again, however this time choose the Buy option (#1). You will have to wait for the game to load a new window (#2).

It doesn't matter what you choose, however if you want to speed up this process, you should buy several objects from the same group (#1). You will have to add them to your shopping cart. You will also be presented with a current value of the outfits. You will have to spend at least 2000 Simoleons in order to be able to finish up with this mission objective (#2).

Goal: Call a cab and go home (+250 Aspiration)

You may leave the boutique area. It looks like that bad luck continues, because our main character will come across a new couple - Mickey and Agpora (#1). You won't have to talk to them. Instead, call a cab and go home. After that, wait for the mission summary to be displayed on your screen (#2). You should consider taking care of your needs bars. You will also have to go to bed early, because the weekend is probably over.
