Chapter 3 | Scenario 1 Sims Life Stories Guide

I would recommend getting up at about 0600 hours. It's very important, because you will have to go to work in about two hours. Start off by regenerating your needs bars. Hunger, Bladder and Hygiene are the most important bars here (#1). Wait until 0800 hours. After that, you will have to change (this is done automatically). Head on to the car (#2). It's very important that your Sim is happy right now, because that will increase the probability of receiving a promotion.

Now you will have to wait for the main character to get back from work. As a result, it would be wise to speed up the time by pressing a correct button. If you've done everything correctly, you should be promoted to Assistant (#1). Make sure that you've checked your NEW work schedule, so you won't be surprised the next day. You will also receive a larger salary and a bonus. Additionally, you should start thinking about increasing your skills. This will allow you to proceed to the next level of the career (#2). As you've probably noticed, you need to have a high charisma and some creativity (first level; #2).

If you forgot about increasing your creativity, you will have to do something about this right away. As a result, you will be able to advance on the next day (after work). The easiest way to increase your creativity would be to start painting (#1). You probably won't have enough time to advance during a single course, but you can go back to the painting at any time (#2). Just make sure that you've advanced to the first level.

Goal: Phone Fiona (+250 Aspiration)

This task won't appear on your screen right away. Thankfully, it will be very simple. The only thing that has to be done here is to call Fiona. You can use your mobile phone by clicking on the main character. Once you've chosen Fiona from the menu (#1), press the Talk button (#2). You don't have to invite her to your house, because she's too busy. You will find out more about ex-boyfriend of Riley. It appears that he's in town. Once the conversation is cover, go back to the painting and make sure that you have advanced in creativity.

Goal: Invite Mickey to Starlight Cafe (+500 Aspiration)

This mission objective should appear on your screen at about 1800 hours, so you will have plenty of time to focus your attention on other actions. You should consider upgrading some other skills. This task is going to be quite simple, however you will have to follow a certain pattern. The first thing to do would be to use a cell phone (#1). Choose the Transportation option (don't call the cab!). A new window will pop up on your screen (#2). You will have to choose the second option - Invite a Sim to Community Lot.

Wait for the third window to show up on your screen. You will have to choose Mickey from the menu (as your guest). You shouldn't have any problems doing that (#1). Head on to the entrance. Once the cab is near, you will have to choose your destination. Go to Starlight Cafe and Market (#2). It would be wise to save your progress here (in front of the house), mostly because you won't be allowed to do that while exploring community lots!

Now you will have to wait patiently for the cab to arrive (#1). It'll take some time, however you shouldn't leave this area because you would only lose more time at the community lot. Take a seat and wait for the cab to reach the new area (#2). You will have some time to look around, however you may also consider talking to Mickey right away.

Goal: Play Chess (+500 Aspiration)

This is a very simple challenge. You should be able to find a chess table on your left (#1). It's in the middle of the park area. Your main character will automatically start playing chess. Mickey should join you, however in some cases you will have to choose a new action - Ask to join (#2). You will be able to fulfill this mission objective very quickly, so you may as well stop playing.

Goal: Have dinner with Mickey (+750 Aspiration)

Once again, you will have to follow a certain pattern in order to be able to proceed to the next mission objective. Start off by clicking on a small desk. Additionally, you will have to choose the Be Seated option (#1). As a result, you will be given one of the tables (#2). Wait for Mickey to get here. It shouldn't take him too much time.

Now you will have to locate a waiter that should be standing nearby or coming your way. Click on that person and choose the Order for all option (#1). This is very important, because Mickey will be eating with you. After that, choose one of the available dishes (#2). It doesn't really matter which one you decide to pick. Wait for the dish to be served.

Now for the easy part. You will have to eat dinner (#1). You will also refill one of the needs bars, however this is not important. Once you're done with your meal, you will have to pay for the dishes. Click on the manager (#2) and choose a correct option - Pay Bill. I wouldn't recommend running away, especially since there's one more goal for you to fulfill.

Goal: Kiss Mickey (+500 Aspiration)

You shouldn't have any problems fulfilling this mission objective. Start off by clicking on Mickey. Head on to the Kiss section. Now you will have to click on First kiss (#1). A funny cut-scene should appear on your screen (#2). You will have to wait for it end, mostly because you won't be able to skip it. You will also receive a present from Mickey. It's going to be a glass rose. I would recommend putting it in the saloon or bedroom.

You won't have to say goodbye to Mickey. Instead, use your cell phone and choose the Call taxi feature. You will have to use it to go back to the main map (#1). You should wait for the mission summary to appear on the screen (#2). Once you've arrived at the house, go to bed, especially if your energy bar has been severely depleted.

Important! Finishing this chapter will unlock the second scenario of the game (Vincent's story). You won't have to choose it right away. The second scenario has also been described in this game guide.
