To get promoted you need to perform your taska very well. (in every career it is Sim’s mood and other elements) and fulfill the obligation of developing skills of your character – promotion except for bonus and new post means more money. I presented a detailed description of all career below. There are two tables for each one. The first one presents the post, work hours and days of the week when you have to work (abbreviations: Mon – Monday, Tue – Tuesday, Wed – Wednesday, Thursday – Thu, Fri – Friday, Sat – Saturday, Sun – Sunday). The second table presents salary per hour, the number of hours you work and wages, requirements for promotion and bonus for getting promoted.

Salaries can change if you work hard enough to get bonuses (so numbers below concern just as an example). Moreover, the level of required skills is not permanent and often you may have lower level of skills that the one I presented. However, the result given be me is the best mark which gets you closer to getting promoted.
