When inexperienced Sim uses the cooker he/she may start a fire [237]. If you have fire alarm fire brigade will be informed automatically. You can try to put down the flames yourself [238].

Soon the fireman will appear [239] (thanks to alarm or Sim using the phone) but till then you can deal with the problem. If the objects is burnt, you will get compensation from the insurance company and you can exchange it for a new one – for a proper price of course [240].

 

Burglar

At night a burglar may appear in your house. If you installed burglar alarm , it will start to work immediately [241], police will be called and your Sims will wake up. After a moment a policeman will appear [242].

There will be a fight between the policeman and the thief [243].The result may be different – the thief either gets caught or he runs away [244].

 

Paying the bills and bailiff

The bills appear in your letterbox every few days [245]. You have to pay them regularly. When you take them out of the letterbox, their colour will change everyday [246].

The last hope is information in the upper right corner. If you neglect it, bailiff will appear [247] and take over one of objects in your house [248].
