Sims - Moving around  (17/44)

The Sims you create are alive – they have their needs and dreams. Except for fulfilling their dreams you can develop their skills, grow friendships and relationship and have children. Sims grow old and die, so their children are the only thing that’s left.

Bottom panel presents different elements concerning Sims. On the left there are wishes of every Sim, then on the right there are lifetime wishes and also information about the day of the week, current hour and speed of the game. Next so called moodlets and on the right side of the fold with much information [130] for example about Sims’ needs, their career, friends, skills and many more elements described below. On the left side of the screen over the bottom panel there are icons of Sims (their number depends on the number of Sims you control). As always in The Sims you click left button of the mouse on the particular object and open menu of available interactions – it is very functional and at the same time simple. You move in the same way on your plot [131]. To go to the city, you move the camera as far as possible (for example by using the roll of the mouse) and click an icon of a magnifying glass with minus [132], choose the icon of the city on the bottom panel ob the left or just press „M”.

133

134

You will see the map of whole city. Click on icon symbolizing particular objects [133] choose what Sim is supposed to do and why is he or she going to a particular place. At the bottom of the screen you can see filters thanks to which you can choose the icons of object you want to be displayed [134].

135

136

Sim uses a taxi to go to the city [135] unless you have a car or a bike – in this case use it [136].

137

138

If the place you want to send him to is not far away (for example you click on the neighbors’ house and choose the visit) run there [137].

Click left button of the mouse on the icon of Sim and centralize the screen on him or her. Click on the right button on the same icon – the screen will follow Sim who is on the move. Little arrow above his or her head [138] appears when he or she leaves home. Click on it and he or she will go back home.
