Your goal is to take over the cities, by killing the rival families and take control of their Businesses. Although the police are present, you won’t have too much problems with them, apart from some situations. When you do, it’s always wise to run to one of your hideouts (you will find one in each of the three locations).

You will be led through the game by receiving missions. Basically everything limits to taking over Businesses and sending guards there. If anyone tries to get their Business back, you go there to prevent it, or send your man to do it for you, later in the game. Eliminating a family is possible only after taking over every Business that they own. It’s worth to kill their men first: soldiers, capos and underbosses. You can do it by just killing them, but in a specific way. To get to know where to meet and how to kill them, you have to do favours to the pedestrians with a key symbol above their heads. Then you drive to the place and kill according to the given instructions. You don’t have to follow them, but if you do, there will be less defence at the family compound. One soldier is as strong as a couple of guards.
In fact you don’t have a house of your own, not counting your three hideouts. Each time you enter it, the police will leave you alone and in addition inside you’ll find a black mob car (+it’s armoured) with guns and ammo inside. This way you can recover your ammo, bombs etc.
The key to success is to have a strong team. You can control it by sending it to different Businesses in order to take them over or defend them. You definitely should have a man with medic speciality. Although every one of your men will slowly recover (you can also heal them with the blue bottles that you will sometimes find) it’s wise to have a medic, who will save us or our comrade in case of falling down. While moving with the team you can also show them where they should go (target that place and press „C”). To call them, whistle by pressing „V”.
