Ayleid Ruins – elfish remains of an ancient civilization that ruled Cyrodiil before the Empire was proclaimed - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Ayleid Ruins – elfish remains of an ancient civilization that ruled Cyrodiil before the Empire was proclaimed. These are usually quite big, 2 or 3 level dungeons, filled with traps and (mostly) undead. Ayleid Ruins are the only place where you can come by Welkynd and Varla stones, which are useful in some quests and also quite valuable. Most of the Ayleid ruins play a certain role in a miscellaneous quest called “The Collector” (found in Imperial City).

Camps – small bandit encampments, a few tents and a fireplace is all there is to them - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Caves – just yer everyday RPG caverns, what’s there to tell - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Caves – just yer everyday RPG caverns, what’s there to tell? They are very different from each other when it comes to monster encounters and size. Not all of them are related to some quests.

Cities – gates, districts, etc - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Cities – gates, districts, etc. Most of them are already marked on your map when you start the game.

Daedric Shrines – there are 15 of them, and each one is connected to a particular quest - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Daedric Shrines – there are 15 of them, and each one is connected to a particular quest. See “Daedric Quests” chapter for details.

Mines – not very common around Cyrodiil - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Mines – not very common around Cyrodiil. The only difference between a mine and a common cave is a presence of silver/gold veins, from which you can get some nuggets.

“Peaks” – well, the name isn’t too accurate, but it’s hard to define this type of locations - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

“Peaks” – well, the name isn’t too accurate, but it’s hard to define this type of locations. They are mostly some terrain irregularities that you are lead to by certain quests.

Settlements – farms, priories, temples and such - Map Segment #1 - Province of Cyrodiil - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Settlements – farms, priories, temples and such. Most of them are connected to some quests.

If you are the arena grand champion and you're around lvl 10, you can do one of those weekly match things and you sometimes fight minotaurs and you get minotaur horns.

Grannyman 21/03/2010 17:05

oh one more thing arbiter sorry sometimes the elven curiass will appear in the chest, sometimes it is something different but save before entering the fort, I definitely found a elven curiass there and when i went back a save to double check it was something else, so apologies about that thanks

sorry, i made afew mistakes in that lol but you should be able to make it out arbiter

*Luk* 30/12/2008 20:13

yes arbiter, i can help! go tob fort facian, it is south from cheydinhal, it is the 2nd fort, when you see fort Naso, keep going down from there, you will find fort facian now once you've entered, take the first right, but watch out, a wrath is here so bring daedric or silver sword i guess and after defeating it turn left, you'lll find awooden door, defeat that little pesky rat and open the chest, there you will find your own curiass, an elven one, a real one!

vipuser 22/12/2008 11:34

Arbiter77 19/12/2008 21:58

quick question. Anyone know where I can find an Elven cuirass thats not ceremonial?

Sickeder666 15/12/2008 01:45

To get money quick just dupe Enchanted items and sell them over and over again.

Legendary Chicken Chaser 03/09/2008 17:23

Whats with people and trying to get rich fast in these games? Just play the friggin game and get rich knowing you accomplished something. Work for your money otherwise just having it all early makes the game duller than hell.

perry the pirate 03/09/2008 11:03

anyone know how to get lots of money fast?

Mr. Chew 21/06/2008 20:08

noob.
