Spies  (58/109)

While the Septim heir researches the enchanted book, Jauffre has a mission for you. You have to get rid of some suspicious spies wandering around the temple. Talk to Steffan, who will tell you where they usually meet at night. Go there and kill everyone. You’ll find some keys when you search their bodies. Go to Bruma and talk to guard captain Burd. He’ll allow you to legally search Jearl’s house. Go there and enter the basement through a hatch on the floor. There you’ll find a letter. Take it to Jauffre.

Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

Is that the only chance I had? Because when I took the plans to Jauffre, I found no option to ask him about the blades.

When you rescue Martin Septim from Kvatch (During Siege of Kvatch quest) and escort him to Weynon Priory, and then bring him and Jauffre to Cloud Temple. After Martin's speech he talks to you and then heads off, approach Jauffre and he'll give you a opportunity to join the Blades.

If you can't find one of the spies, try Jearl's house or the caves beneath it. Or you could just wait another day at the runestone and then kill the other one that shows up. I did this once.

you dont need to hear them talking just go into the basement in jearl's house and look on the table, on the table is a note revealing their plans and u do need to kill the spies

Ok first off everyone is saying kill. He also says says you should find out what they are planning. I have snuck up and heard them start to talk (around 5:30 for everyone who is saying 6:00) but then they hear me and come to attack. Has anyone tried using an invisability spell to hear what their plans are?
