Mission objectives:

• Divide the German line and regroup at the entrance to the industrial area
• Eliminate the German forces in the northern part of the city
• Reclaim the bank of Volga and encircle the factories
• Eliminate enemy forces in the factories

You begin with two infantry units and a single BT-7 for each group. You have to combine the two teams ASAP (1), in order to have enough firepower to break through the city. Fortunately for you, you will encounter many cannons and tanks running low on supplies. Don't venture into the ruins before you combine the teams. When you do that in the center (2), take the road (to the north-west). You will encounter two howitzers without ammo and a unit of infantry (3). Some additional forces will arrive, including tanks. After dealing with them, chose one of the two paths taking you behind the barricades. You will encounter small enemy units and some hardware left behind. At your destination, you will be greeted by three reinforced cannons, which however will be facing to the north (4). Eliminate the personnel to receive reinforcements. Before you head out with your new troops, check the area between the cannons you've just neutralized and the troops - a couple mines can deal a terrible blow to your reinforcements.

Eliminating enemies in the factories can be problematic, so use bombers and don't split your forces during an attack.

Time to storm the industrial area. The briefing suggests attacking the factories at the very end of the mission. The troops you will encounter there are indeed more powerful. You should use bombers to weaken enemy's force, especially the infantry. First, eliminate the anti-air support in the ruins that you've previously bypassed (6). They're next to the starting points, in case you lose the way. Now you can bomb factories from the air (7). The artillery isn't extremely effective against the thick concrete. Gather your troops and tanks. Use a big group if infantry and tanks and start the offensive. Watch out for the tanks - some of them, fortified and well placed, can be problematic. Don't let enemy vehicles to retreat, because they will oftentimes fortify. Use AT grenades and concentrate fire of your armor.

Attack the trenches with a large group, so that your opponent will not be able to inflict great damage on your soldiers. After the attack on a small warehouse in the middle of this part of the map, the enemy will send a heavy bomber. Evacuate your soldiers immediately!

After eliminating the defenders in the factories, start to methodically destroy every resistance point (8). Use tanks wisely and don't put them sideways or backwards against the enemy. Take particular care of the KV-1, because your opponent does not have weapons that could directly endanger it. Now you can confidently use artillery to eliminate enemy guns or infantry. Be careful when cleaning the central storage area (9). After you have eliminated the defenders, the enemy will send a heavy bomber to this location, so leave the building as soon as possible. The enemy will no longer receive any meals or support. Only when attacking the eastern fortification (10) (just by the river), the enemy will send two transports vehicles unloaded by infantry units. It is worth hitting this place at the end, unless you have more than two tanks and several soldiers.
