Build up your base and construct all possible structures. The enemy will be attacking from two directions: from the passage on the West and from air drops in the valley, most probably in its southern part.
You should expand as soon as you can to increase resource acquisition. The first expansion space can be easily reached by taking the passage to the East. Some Mutalisks will make the task easier.
Land assault won't be easy as the enemy has a lot of Zealots and Reavers. It would be quicker, and cheaper, to train a squad of Mutalisks. One such squad will be able to clear the base of enemies and allow your soldiers to destroy the buildings. Quickly build your own base in place of this one and fortify your defenses. There's some expansion space to the East, and undefended. You should take a moment to send a party to build an additional base there.
Once you assemble a large enough force, you can send a Drone to this location. It will disappear from the map, and you'll have to wait 10 minutes before the units finishes its job. In the meantime, the rest of the Protoss bases will go active, and begin attacking this locations. You can build a base here, or defend it with your army.
The Protoss will patrol this area and use it as a gathering point for their assault groups. In most cases a Carrier will approach this position, wait for some support and proceed to attack towards North. You can send Mutalisks to intercept it beforehand to save yourself some trouble.
This is the place where your worker needs to bring the crystal. You can assign it some land escorts and send it through the route you've already cleared. You can also send a group of Overlords straight to the marker (send more of them so the unit carrying the crystal can survive). The last method is to build a Nydus canal right near the crystal excavation site and sending it straight to your base.

You Base Build up your base and construct all possible structures. The enemy will be attacking from two directions: from the passage on the West and from air drops in the valley, most probably in its southern part.

Expansion space #1 You should expand as soon as you can to increase resource acquisition. The first expansion space can be easily reached by taking the passage to the East. Some Mutalisks will make the task easier.

Protoss Base #1 Land assault won't be easy as the enemy has a lot of Zealots and Reavers.

The Crystal Once you assemble a large enough force, you can send a Drone to this location. It will disappear from the map, and you'll have to wait 10 minutes before the units finishes its job. In the meantime, the rest of the Protoss bases will go active, and begin attacking this locations. You can build a base here, or defend it with your army.

Protoss assembly point The Protoss will patrol this area and use it as a gathering point for their assault groups. In most cases a Carrier will approach this position, wait for some support and proceed to attack towards North. You can send Mutalisks to intercept it beforehand to save yourself some trouble.

Marker - the returning Drone will have to reach this area This is the place where your worker needs to bring the crystal. You can assign it some land escorts and send it through the route you've already cleared. You can also send a group of Overlords straight to the marker (send more of them so the unit carrying the crystal can survive). The last method is to build a Nydus canal right near the crystal excavation site and sending it straight to your base.

Mission objectives:

  1. Bring a drone to the Khaydarin Crystal formation;
  2. New objective: defend the location for 10 minutes and then take the Khaydarin Crystal to the beacon.

The Zerg Swarm has arrived on Auir. Destroying the home world of the protoss will grant the zerg victory. First, you have to secure a special Khaydarin Crystal that has a great power for the Overmind.

Your base is located in the green valley in the top left corner (1). There is only one land way to it, but the protoss often perform landings on the outskirts of the place. You need two Zerglings and Hydralisks groups tops to defend the base. Focus on expanding your air force and research all flyer enhancements. Every protoss base consists of many Reavers, which can pretty much decimate your army. The enemy introduces two new units to combat: Arbiter and Carrier. The former is a kind of a counterpart of a Queen or Defiler. It has several special abilities, including the Stasis field that holds your units in place. The latter has no armaments of its own but carrier a number of Interceptors, which are small fighters. It is the biggest threat the protoss pose and you should eliminate it in the first place.

The first enemy base can be easily destroyed by a group of Mutalisks. Build a Hatchery here and start extracting raw materials. Also, fortify this position. - Misja 9 - The Invasion of Aiur | Zerg | Campaign Walkthrough - Zerg - StarCraft: Remastered Game Guide

In this mission, low gas supplies are your primary problem. You need to break through to the first expansion in the west, right below the top edge of the map, by the water (2). A full team of Mutalisks should destroy the first protoss base with no problem (3). Don't send any unit below the destroyed barracks or a Drone to the location of the Crystal. Build another base on the ruins of the enemy facility and another one at the left edge, also by the lake. Build Extractors in all locations and assign workers to them. Extracting gas is very important for expanding your air force. Use minerals to create extra Zerglings and fortifications. In the ruins of the first base, build several to over a dozen additional Turrets of both types. Gather the extra groups of Zerglings and Hydralisks here. The most important thing is to assemble at least 2 or 3 squads of Mutalisks or, alternatively, a team of Guardians.

Carriers are the biggest threat in this mission, but a group of Mutalisks should handle this powerful enemy. Also, watch out for Arbiters because they can immobilize your units. This is why you always need to have an extra fighter team around. - Misja 9 - The Invasion of Aiur | Zerg | Campaign Walkthrough - Zerg - StarCraft: Remastered Game Guide

Now, send a worker to the beacon at the crystal (4). This is when the yellow and orange enemy become active. They will immediately send their units to the area between the Crystal's location and your middle base (5). You will have to face of kinds of protoss forces. For the moment, don't attack - focus on defending your base. Alternatively, send a group of Mutalisks and Guardians from the crystal's side to the Yellow protoss bases. Right by the river, in both bases, the Yellow enemy has numerous production buildings unprotected by Turrets. Your units should be out of the Dragoon antiaircraft infantry's range. You can use this to weaken the enemy's economy and slow down their unit production. Once the time has run out, you have to send a Drone for the Crystal fragment and bring it to the beacon (6). Now, send your air force to clear the way. You can send the Drone and escort it to the base.

Another way is to send an Overlord with a Drone for the Crystal and send the entire air force to the beacon. You can also build a Hatchery, fortifications, and Nydus Network with the exit at the beacon. Then, you fight at the location until the time has run out. In such a case, delivering the Crystal via the Nydus Network takes just a moment.
