Di Fuego's Corpse | Side Quests - Tacarigua Risen 3 Guide

Way to unlock the quest: Automatically, after you find the corpse.

You can unlock this quest after you reach a small tower in the central part of the map (point 6 on the map). Enter the building and examine the corpse of the late governor Di Fuego. Thanks to this, you will determine that he was died by the Point of a Sword and your task here is to determine who the murderer is.
I recommend that you, first of all, reach Puerto Sacarico and head towards the governor's estate, which is currently being occupied by commandant Sebastiano (point 10 on the map). You will be able to talk to the commandant only after you have completed the "The Commandant of Tacarigua" side quest. After you have gained access to Sebastiano, talk to him and raise the topic of the murdered governor. The commandant will be reluctant towards admitting his guilt, although you have found out that the Inquisitor sword has been used.
All in all, you need to perform three actions, which will help you impeach Sebastiano for the governor's death. First of all, explore the area to the East of the commandant's house (point 6b on the map). Find the chest and take the Broken Sword.
Wait for nightfall and go to the governor's house again (point 10 on the map). Use the Sneak skill, by pressing the appropriate key/button. You need to sneak to the upper floor that is occupied by Sebastiano during the day. Find the chest shown in the above screenshot and use a lockpick to open it (fortunately, it is poorly secured). Collect the Sebastiano's Execution Order from the chest.
Note - If you haven't been lockpicking yet, and you do not own a lockpick, you need to buy one. It can be bought, among others, from Jack (the keeper of the lighthouse).
The last thing to do is talking to any Nightwatch member. Ask him about the circumstances of the governor's death.
You can now return to the commandant's house (point 10 on the map) and talk to him again. Present Sebastiano with all the evidence that you have gathered (the broken sword, the document and the testimony of a nightwatch member), thanks to which he will admit to having killed the governor. There are two ways in which you can react to this news, i.e. break all of the relationship with Sebastiano (cancels the "Death to the Deserters" side quest -) or simply end the conversation.
