This is the second mission associated with the journey with Steelbeard and Patty to the city of Puerto Isabella. It begins when you reach the bridge occupied by Firebirds (see: To Puerto Isabella) [#1].

Let Patty and Steelbeard take the burden of fighting the Firebirds.

The girl's father will attack the animals peacefully feeding off the grass - do the same. Your companions will draw their attention away from you, allowing you to stay on the side and attack from a distance. When all of them fall (which means the completion of the Firebirds Blocking the Bridge quest), proceed on your way. After a short stretch, Steelbeard will stop and make a comment on the fight [#2]. At this moment, the game will activate another quest: Over the Bridge.
