Ratchet & Clank: RYNO holocards - list Ratchet & Clank Guide

On this page of the Ratchet & Clank guide, you will find the location of all the RYNO holocards available in the game. For finding all of them, you will receive a weapon - RYNO.

RYNO holocards are unique holocards that won't give you any direct benefits when you collect them. However, acquiring all 9 of them is required to unlock a new, secret and extremely overpowered weapon - the title RYNO. The weapon can be acquired from the very same shady character that gave you the Trespasser gadget - to get to him head to Rilgar and use the "taxi" located right next to the ship.

Below you can find the locations of all 9 RYNO cards. At the end of this chapter there's the description of the acquisition of RYNO.

Note - when you start a new game in the Challenge mode, RYNO will disappear from your equipment. Don't worry, you won't have to look for the cards - you just have to reach the shady character that will give you the weapon one more time.

• What can you do with the RYNO holocards?

Planet Rilgar - RYNO HOLOCARD: I

This card cannot be missed - you will acquired it right after getting the Trespasser gadget.

This card must be collect after acquiring the Trespasser gadget and getting through the first Trespasser Puzzle in the game. You can't miss that.

Planet Rilgar - RYNO HOLOCARD: II

Winning the race on the Gold rank will reward you with the card.

To acquire this card you must win the Gold rank of the hoverboard racing event on Rilgar.

Planet Kerwan - RYNO HOLOCARD: Zodiac

The location of the card is marked with the red circle.

This card can be found close to the starting point on Kerwan, to the south of the store. It's hidden behind a force field, which can be taken down by completing one of the Trespasser Puzzles - check the "Trespasser Puzzles" chapter for details.

When you solve the puzzle, get inside of a small room and collect the card.

Planet Nebula G34 - RYNO HOLOCARD: RYNO30

The card is located behind this gate.

This card is located behind a closed gate, which can be opened by completing a Trespasser Puzzle. This puzzle is located on the path you travel while completing objectives on this planet, but the puzzle itself is not required to complete the game - you will be passing right next to it (by going to the passageway on the left side, whereas the puzzle is located in front of the tunnel). You must complete it if you want to unlock the secret RYNO weapon, as there's one of the cards located inside. The solution to the puzzle can be found in the "Trespasser Puzzles" chapter.

Planet Gaspar - RYNO HOLOCARD: Harbringer

The location of the building.

This card is hidden on the back of a large building - the location of it can be seen on the above screenshot.

To get there, you must use your Jetpack and simply fly around the building.

Planet Batalia - RYNO HOLOCARD: IV

The location of the card.

This puzzle is located near the starting location on this planet. Head along the street (ignoring the ramp leading upwards). On your left side there will be a small building with the Trespasser Terminal in front of it - the solution can be found in the "Trespasser Puzzles" chapter.

Planet Quartu - RYNO HOLOCARD: V

Another RYNO card hidden behind a gate.

You will find this card during the exploration (on foot, as you won't have fuel for the jetpack yet) of the factory on Quartu, right next to the turret. Use the turret to destroy the nearby gate (just like you did on Gaspar). Inside of the small room you've just uncovered there's the card you're looking for.

Planet Kalebo III - RYNO HOLOCARD: VI Protosuit

Winning the race on the Gold rank will reward you with the card.

To acquire this card you must win the Gold rank of the hoverboard racing event on Kalebo III.

Deplanetizer - RYNO HOLOCARD: VII

Boxes in the distance lead to the RYNO card.

The last card can be found in the place you've activated the mechanism to take down a huge force field blocking the passage. Eliminate the enemies in the area and stand in front of the tunnel, turn to the right and locate a pair of boxes (a larger and a smaller one) standing right in front of you. Climb them up and then on the elevation to collect another RYNO card.

What can you do with the RYNO holocards?

Use the taxi to get to the upper level of the building.

After collecting all 9 cards, head back to Rilgar. Afterwards, hop onto one of the taxis to get back to the shady character that gave you the Trespasser gadget.

There's a lot upgrades available for the weapon.

Speak with the main again, which will initiate a cut-scene. During it the character will create the weapon for you. RYNO is a combination of a minigun and a rocket launcher, as well as the most overpowered weapon in the game. It's extremely effective when playing on the Challenge mode, where you want to get the highest bolt multiplier. The weapon is so powerful that even without upgrades it can take out a boss in seconds!
