Last update: 20 June 2017

This page contains a list of all trophies available in Prey. Achievements can be unlocked on all platforms the game came out for. Every trophy includes a description of actions necessary to unlock them as well as a supplementary Notes regarding the easiest way to do it. Complicated trophies are described in further pages of this chapter.

Attention - Trophy page is being constructed.

A Different Side of You

How to Unlock: Use the Psychoscope to scan your Phantom Shift duplicate.

Notes: The more detailed description of this achievement can be found in the dedicated page of this guide.

A Friend in Need

How to Unlock: You have to recover Mikhaila's booster shots and heal her.

Notes: This achievement can be obtained during Assist Mikhaila Ilyushin when you find Mikhaila in the Power Plant. Warning - This quest has a time limit (2 hours) so you should prepare for it and save your progress before doing it. More details can be found in the page dedicated to his mission.

A Gift to the World

How to Unlock: You must find Gustav Leitner's Connectome for Dr. Igwe.

Notes: This achievement can be obtained after completing Gustav Leitner side mission. You get it from Dayo Igwe sometime after you saved him during This Side Up main mission. The Connectome is in Igwe's safe in the Crew Quarters. More details on how to find this item can be found in the page dedicated to his mission.

Abandon Ship

How to Unlock: You have to flee Talos I aboard Alex's escape pod before completing the main mission.

Notes: The trophy is connected to an unique ending which involves an premature escape from the station using a private shuttle belonging to Alex Yu. The action is a final objective of Who is December, a side mission that sees you follow the orders of December, an AI operator whose directive is to help Morgan escape Talos I. More details can be found in Side Missions -> Who is December?.

Adrift

How to Unlock: You have to rescue Dr. Igwe from a cargo container.

Notes: You can save Igwe during This Side Up main mission, the one during which you go to the Cargo Bay for the first time. You have a limited time to save him and if you won't do it in time you will lose the chance to get this achievement. More details on how to save Igwe can be found in the page dedicated to this rescue operation.

Awkward Ride Home

How to Unlock: You have to escape Talos I aboard Dahl's shuttle only with Dahl.

Notes: The trophy is a reward for one of the more complicated variants of the ending to the game itself that sees you eliminate two plot characters. To reach the required configuration for the trophy, begin by completing Incapacitate Dahl (a walkthrough can be found in Side Quests -> Dahl section of our guide), a quest that involves capturing Dahl alive and performing a neurotomy that reverts him back to a peaceful state. If you've managed to complete the aforementioned quest, set out to kill both Dr. Igwe and Mikhail Ilyushin. If both targets are dead, follow the path laid out by Perdition and access the auto-destruct consoles. The escape shuttle should now have only Dahl on board (If you hadn't had killed them earlier, Igwe and Mikhail would join you, rendering you unable to acquire the trophy).

Ball Lightning

How to Unlock: Use Electrostatic Burst to cast down at least two operators.

Notes: The more detailed description of this achievement can be found in the dedicated page of this guide.

Best Served Cold

How to Unlock: You have to kill Luka and thus avenge Abby - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: You have to kill Luka and thus avenge Abby.

Notes: This achievement can be obtained in two different places in the game. The first chance is to meet with Will Mitchell in Crew Quarters during The Cook's Request side mission. You can shoot him right after Will (at that point you don't know that he is Luka) opens the shutters or you can kill him after he invites you to the kitchen. If you missed this opportunity then you can track Luka during another side mission called Danielle Sho. He is hiding in Talos I Bridge. More information can be found in the walkthroughs for those missions.

Black Market

How to Unlock: You have to find all the Smuggler's Dead Drops.

Notes: This achievement can be obtained by completing Talos Smuggling Ring side quest unlocked in the Arboretum.

Brain Trust

How to Unlock: You have to help Igwe, January, and Mikhaila meet in your office.

Notes: The meeting will happen only if you helped Igwe and Mikhaila (January also participates the meeting automatically unless you destroyed her operator in the past). Dr. Igwe must be saved from a container in Talos I Exterior, you can do that during This Side Up main mission. Mikhaila must be found in the Power Plant and you have to bring her medicine which is a part of Assist Mikhaila Ilyushin side quest. Both missions have time limits and can be failed if you don't complete them quickly enough (check the walkthroughs for both missions in our guide).

Coffee Break

How to Unlock: You have to find Dr. Calvino's Secret Stash.

Notes: A detailed description of this objective can be found in a dedicated section of this chapter.

Cold Dead Hands

How to Unlock: You have to fully upgrade a weapon.

Notes: A detailed description of this feat can be found in a dedicated section of this chapter.

Dead Calm

How to Unlock: You have to kill an enemy while using Combat Focus.

Notes: Combat Focus is a skill that can be unlocked thanks to neuromods (its base version takes two neuromods). Activating this power makes the time slow down and you have to use it to kill any enemy.

Dead Future Self

How to Unlock: You have to find and listen to all the messages you left for yourself.

Notes: A detailed walkthrough for this achievement can be found in a dedicated section of Achievements and Trophies chapter.

Deprogramming

How to Unlock: Use Mental Break to free a mind-controlled station inhabitant - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: Use Mental Break to free a mind-controlled station inhabitant.

Notes: A good opportunity to score this achievement appears while travelling through the Crew Quarters. You'll encounter humans that are subjected to alien mind-control which makes them hostile to you. Scan them to unlock Mental Break, an ability enabling you to remove the mind-control from the chosen person. Buy the ability and use it to fulfil the requirement and score the trophy. You can see an example of a candidate in the picture above.

Do No Harm

How to Unlock: You have to finish the game without killing any humans.

Notes: We recommend leaving out this trophy for a second playthrough, as you'll be aware of certain encounters and the locations of the individual characters.

Note #1 - This achievement also counts the mind-controlled characters found in the further part of the game - you'll need to find a peaceful way of dealing with them (leaving them out or freeing them from mind-control)

Note #2 - Fortunately, environmental kills or actions performed by other characters (e.g. a monster killing a station inhabitant) do not count towards the achievement.

Engineer

How to Unlock: You have to repair at least 20 devices.

Notes: You have to unlock the Repair skill. Its base version requires only one neuromod but it's a good idea to develop it in order to repair more complicated devices, too.

Escape Velocity

How to Unlock: Perform a 20 metre flight while posing as an object (in an area with normal gravity)

Notes: The more detailed description of this achievement can be found in the dedicated page of this guide.

Facsimile

How to Unlock: You have to personally meet January.

Notes: The meeting with January takes place during one of the storyline quests (she will assume the role of an operator)

I and It

How to Unlock: You have to kill all humans on and around the station.

Notes: A more detailed description of the action can be found in a dedicated page of this chapter.

I and Thou

How to Unlock: You have to complete the game in the most empathetic way possible.

Notes: The "emphatic ending" forces you to complete the game without killing any human characters (including the mind-controlled crew members found in Crew Quarters) as well as avoiding any incidental deaths i.e. helping the other characters survive if they come onto trouble.

Intrinsic Value

How to Unlock: You must sacrifice yourself by placing your character in a recycler.

Notes: The more detailed description of this achievement can be found in the dedicated page of this guide.

It's Alive

How to Unlock: Create a Phantom by using Phantom Genesis.

Notes: This achievement requires you to buy Phantom Genesis, a Typhoon ability unlocked by scanning Weavers. Once you've bought the power, approach any corpse and use the skill to create a Phantom.

Know Thine Enemy

How to Unlock: Unlock a Typhon Power.

Notes: Alien powers are unlocked in later stages of the game once you've acquired the Psychoscope, which takes place during your visit to Psychotronics. Choose any of them.

Know Thy Self

How to Unlock: Unlock a Human ability.

Notes: Abilities are unlocked with neuromods and the first such item can be found while exploring the Neuromod Division. Unlock any ability that requires using a single neuromod (e.g. Hacking, Repair, Leverage, and so on).

Makeup Exam

1 - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: Return to the Simulation Lab in Neuromod Division and repeat tests A, B, and C.

Notes: The achievement requires you to repeat the tests that you've undertaken at the beginning of the game. You can proceed with the achievement once you've managed to unlock the following set of Typhoon powers: Mimic Matter, Kinetic Blast and Remote Manipulation, otherwise your tests won't count towards the achievement. Use one of the stations found in the area to prepare the rooms (you can see it in the picture above), and enter them to repeat the three tests which you've received from Dr. Bellamy.

  1. Room A sees you use Kinetic Blast to move different containers.
  2. Room B sees you use Mimic Matter on an office chair (watch out for the mime!)
  3. Room C: Use Remote Manipulation to push a distant button

Warning - Each of the three tests must be completed before the time's out (the timers are displayed on the walls). Additionally, one of the Mimics in room B can be transformed into a chair. It is a good idea to defeat that creature first.

Mimesis

How to Unlock: You have to use the Mimic power to mimic a Mimic.

Notes: The detailed walkthrough for this achievement can be found in a respective section of this chapter.

Mimic Massacre

How to Unlock: Eliminate 5 Mimes in a period of time shorter than 5 seconds.

Notes: The detailed walkthrough for this achievement can be found in a respective section of this chapter.

Missing Person

How to Unlock: You have to locate all employees on Talos I.

Notes: Notes: One of the most difficult achievements found in game, requiring attention and thorough exploration of Talos I station. In all, there are 267 characters found on the station, but the trophy requires you to find 265. Investigate all found bodies, eliminate all Phantoms, meet up with every friendly character you've encountered, and take care of or free all mind-controlled crew members.

No Needles

How to Unlock: You have to complete the game without acquiring any Typhon power or human ability.

Notes: A challenging trophy that forces you to completely ignore all neuromods, Human and Typhoon alike. The player has to complete a playthrough basing only on acquired weaponry and additional equipment. Consider choosing one of the lesser difficulty levels, and spend all found Fabrication supplies on ammunition for your favorite weapons.

Note #1 - Skip the shuttle ending, as this action is treated as a premature ending which is not rewarded with a trophy!

No Show

How to Unlock: You have to die to helicopter blades on your first day of work - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: You have to die to helicopter blades on your first day of work.

Notes: This trophy can be unlocked at the very beginning of the game. Once you've reached the helipad, climb on the helicopter instead of boarding it. Contacting the helicopter blades will kill you, but you'll unlock the achievement in question.

Open Says She

How to Unlock: You have to use Danielle's voice samples to access the storage.

Notes: This achievement is unlocked during the course of the main story. The voice samples are used to open the passage in Arboretum that leads to the Deep Storage. You must do that during Restore from Backup main mission.

Operator

How to Unlock: You have to hack at least 20 objects.

Notes: You have to unlock the Hacking ability. Its base version requires only one neuromod but it's a good idea to develop it in order to hack more complicated devices, too.

Press Sneak

How to Unlock: You have to read all the e-mails on Talos I.

Notes: You have to investigate all interactive terminals for the purposes of this trophy. Since some of the are password-protected, it's a good idea to develop the Hacking ability in order to be able to hack terminals without having to look for passwords. Moreover, some of the stations can be disabled if, for example, there is no electricity in the given part of the station. Consider making notes of these locations and return to them later on. The e-mail locations can be viewed in a different section of the guide.

Warning - You don't have to visit every single terminal that has messages. You should get this achievement a little bit earlier, after checking most of them (in our case we got the achievement during our first exploration of the Power Plant).

Prism Master

How to Unlock: Read the entire Starbender series.

Notes: A detailed walkthrough for this achievement can be found in a respective section of this guide.

Psychometry

How to Unlock: You have to listen to all audio recordings on Talos I.

Notes: Audiologs are a kind of secrets that can be found thanks to careful exploration of the environment. The found recordings (found mostly next to the crew members' bodies) are saved on your TranScribe. A list of all recordings (along with their locations) can be found in a respective section of this guide. As a matter of fact, you don't need to find every last TranScribe or listen to every recording there is. The achievement should fall to your lap a bit sooner, after acquiring a prevalent majority of these items.

Push the Fat Guy

Kill Alex after youve managed to draw him out from his dwelling in Arboretum - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide
Kill Alex after you've managed to draw him out from his dwelling in Arboretum

How to Unlock: You have to kill Alex Morgan.

Notes: Notes: This achievement is unlocked during the course of the main story.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

How to Unlock: You must dispose at least 20 objects at the same time by using a recycler.

Notes: The more detailed description of this achievement can be found in the dedicated page of this guide.

Self-Incriminating

How to Unlock: You have to find out what happened to Mikhaila's father and let her know.

Notes: The achievement is connected to one of the side-quests received from Mikhaila Ilyushin. To learn more, visit Side Quests -> Dayo Igwe/Mikhaila Ilyushin.

Warning - The achievement is unlocked only if you had transferred the audio file to your station and listened to it joined by Mikhaila.

Shapeshifter

Viable objects are highlighted by the player interface - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide
Viable objects are highlighted by the player interface

How to Unlock: Use Mimic Matter to pose as 20 different objects.

Notes: The achievement requires you to own Mimic Matter, a Typhoon ability that is unlocked once you've managed to scan at least two Mimes. The power allows you to mimic any object found in your near vicinity. Hold the Psionic Skills button to highlight interactive objects and mimic those which you haven't used already (boxes, bottles, cups, chairs, microscopes, etc.). The trophy can be attained with the initial level of the power, as there are numerous objects present - finding 20 of those should be easy. Simply visit a few offices or laboratories, as those are filled with objects.

Split Affinity

How to Unlock: You have to complete the game once acquiring only Typhon powers and then once more acquiring only human abilities.

Notes: This trophy requires you to complete the game twice. In each playthrough, focus solely on one of the two groups of abilities/powers (Human or Typhoon only abilities) and ignore the other one completely.

Suicide by Proxy

Destroy the operator controlled by January - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide
Destroy the operator controlled by January

How to Unlock: You have to kill January.

Notes: You can get this achievement after completing Through a Glass Darkly main mission. When you return to your office in Talos I Lobby a new mission will start, called Speak with January. She takes the form of an operator (January is not a living creature) and she will appear in your office. Instead of talking with her you must use a weapon (e.g. a shotgun or a wrench) and destroy the operator.

Warning - If you missed the moment to complete this achievement you can still get it during your future meetings with the operator - January.

Tee One Up

How to Unlock: You have to kill an enemy that is floating in the air - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: You have to kill an enemy that is floating in the air.

Notes: How to Unlock: Kill a levitating opponent.

Notes: This achievement can be unlocked once you've bought Lift Field, a Morph ability that can be unlocked by scanning poltergeists. Equip the power and use it on any opponent (an example is presented in the picture above), then kill him while he is airborne.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to attack weaker enemies, e.g. Mimics or mind-controlled humans.

The Gates of Hell

How to Unlock: You have to help the security officers survive the battle in the cargo bay - List of trophies - Achievements and trophies - Prey Game Guide

How to Unlock: You have to help the security officers survive the battle in the cargo bay.

Notes: This achievement can be obtained during Shipping and Receiving main mission - the detailed description of the battle can be found in the walkthrough for this mission. Before you place turrets and defend yourself in the Cargo Bay you can think about lowering the difficulty to easy which will make the fight easier to win. After opening the door to the Cargo Bay B attack the first few Typhons by using alien abilities (the picture above) or throw a Recycler Charge. Then, start using your shotgun and don't allow the enemies to get closer to your allies.

This Never Happened

How to Unlock: Perform a neurotomy procedure on Walther Dahl

Notes: The achievement is a reward for completing the final objective of Incapacitate Dahl. More details can be found in Side Quests -> Dahl, a chapter detailing all the side-quests and quest variants involving the aforementioned character.

Thoughts Can Kill

How to Unlock: Use Psychoshock on any given opponent.

Notes: The achievement can be unlocked once you've bought Psychoshock, a Typhoon ability that is unlocked after a successful scan of a Typhoon Telepath. Once you've bought the ability, use it on any encountered human (including those subjected to mind control).

Transtar Gourmand

How to Unlock: Taste every type of food and drink found on the station.

Notes: Try to thoroughly explore all areas of the station and pick up all interactive objects. Then, browse them in the inventory and use the consumable ones.

You Rang?

How to Unlock: Use Psychotronic Satellite to recall or summon a Typhon Nightmare.

Notes: The action is a part of one of the storyline quests.
