Malie City, Malie Garden and Route 10 | Walkthrough Pokemon Moon Guide

This chapter contains a walkthrough for the areas mentioned above, and a list of items that can be found here with their exact locations. You'll also learn what types of pokemon appear in the area, and how to win the encounters.
Malie City
At the beginning you'll fight Hau at the new island
He already has 3 pokemon. Your first contender is an lvl 28 Raichu, the last evolution of Pikachu. An lvl 28 Vaporeon is the second pokemon thrown at us, while the final stage is joined by any lvl 29 pokemon chosen by Hau.
Your next objective after the fight is to meet with professor. If you need it, visit Poke Center to heal your pokemons. When you are ready, proceed to the garden where the professor awaits you.
Malie Garden
This area contains a large number of pokemon, including new, as well as old species:
- Magikarp
- Goldeen
- Mewotth
- Ledian
- Arquanid
- Petilil
- Poliwag
- Psyduck
First, turn right. While traveling watch the river for any fishing locations. Fishing may yield items such as Prism Scale or Big Pearl. Go up the stairs - you should notice a small building.
Mitch will use two pokemons - an lvl 27 Persian and an lvl 26 Marowak.
The bushes next to the defeated trainer allow you to catch pokemon, and a Grassy Seed is found nearby. Now return to the place where you've fought Hau. Time to visit the other side of the gardens. Before you start travelling, you'll meet a girl that will challenge you.
Ailey will field a lvl 26 Cleff
The bushes nearby contain a Luxory Ball. Follow the way ahead. Finally, you'll find Professor Kukui. A short conversation reveals that you need to leave the park. Before you do so, travel in the opposite direction. There is a Rage Candy Bar next to the umbrella, while a Big Mushroom can be found in the bushes to the right. Return and proceed to the left, and you'll be facing Akali.
She will choose two pokemons: a classic lvl 26 Raticate and a 27 Raichu.
The road forward will lead you to a Zygard Cube Fragment. Time to leave the park. You'll encounter Lilli who will ask us to visit the library. When you've reached the city center, you should notice another Zygard Cube Fragment between two cars. Before you proceed to the library, look around the city and do some shopping. Visit the restaurant to talk to a girl that wants to exchange her Happiny for Pancham. Pancham can be found on Route 11. Pay a visit to the clothes shop to receive a mission to catch Togedemaru. When everything is ready, visit Lilli. You'll receive information that a very old book is sought. Start by looking on the ground floor. The woman with a hat will give you a TM76 Fly. Now it's time to visit the first floor which contains information regarding the next trial. Travel to Route 10.
Route 10
Route 10 is located in the left bottom corner of Malie City. The older woman standing by the road will ask you to find eight Stuffuls. Look for them in bushes, behind trees, even behind wooden signposts along the way. This location also contains mobile trees that hide flying pokemons (Fearows or Skarmores) that will attack you every time you approach them. Use Stoutland as there is a Lemonade by the tree. Alex will be your first enemy:
He will send one pokemon - an lvl 28 Poliwhirl. He is a water pokemon, so use a grass one to counter him.
Next to him, you'll find some berries that may be guarded by a person, while a Paralyze Heal can be found behind the tree. Another fight awaits you some distance ahead. You can use Stoutland right next to the attacker to find a Tiny Mushroom.
Andrea will send one pokemon - an lvl 27 Steenee.
Proceed forward. Another fragment of Zygard Cube can be found next to the guy in a blue suit. The bushes nearby contain X Accuracy - pick it up and follow the way up. A policeman should appear and challenge you.
Mitchell will call a lvl 28 Growlithe
Skull gang can be seen in a distance. After a short conversation you'll be facing them one after another.
First opponent will send an lvl 27 Golbat, while the second one fields an lvl 27 Ratricate.
Kukui will approach you after the fight. After a short conversation you'll be able to use a bus to reach the top of the mountain. Before you do that, return to the woman who asked you to find eight Stuffules. You'll receive Never Melt Ice and 15 thousand in cash. Time to go.
