You will be coming into contact with the interface many times during the game. This is why, it is a good idea to know where to find what.

1. Pokemon

This tab provides you with the list of currently owned creatures - The interface and Pokedex - The basics - Pokemon Moon Game Guide

This tab provides you with the list of currently owned creatures. It is good to know that the first pokemon always starts the battle. To change the order, press Y over a given pokemon and select the one that you want to replace it with. Upon pressing X, you will learn about the item currently held by the pokemon. You can either move the item, or leave it as it is.

2. Pokedex

This tab provides you with information on the percentage of the overall number of pokemons that you currently have. This tab lists down only those of the pokemons that you have actually captured, and not discovered. Also, you will find information on pokemons that you have captured on a specific isle, or all around Alola. After you select a specific type of isle, you will receive information on pokemons that you have already captured and discovered. In here, you will also find information on each pokemon that you have learned about and on where to find one.

3. Bag

In your bag, you can heal pokemons, teach them new abilities and check out the number of items that you currently have. The left side shows the pokemons that you currently have in your team. The bag consists of seven tabs.

  1. Medicine - here, you will find all of the items that you can use to remove negative statuses from pokemons, resurrect them and heal them.
  2. Items - Here, you will find all of your Poke Balls. Apart from that, it includes temporary and permanent buffs for pokemons. Apart from that, there are here items that NPCs have for sale, such as rope or honey that you can use to attract pokemons your way.
  3. TMs - Here, you can view all of the Technical Machines that you have obtained. They are used for teaching pokemons new abilities.
  4. Berries - A pantry for all of the berries that you have collected during the game.
  5. Key Items - Here, you will find all of the storyline items, as well as consumables, such as fishing rod, or Exp. Share.
  6. Free Space - IN this tab, you can place all of your favorite items. To do that, click on the item and select "Move to Free Space".
  7. Z-Crystals - The last tab contains all of the Z-Crystals obtained during the game. It is here that you activate them on a specific pokemon.

4. SAVE is used to save the current game. Remember to do that on a regular basis, because auto save function is absent from the game.

5. Quick Link is used to connect two computers. It is used to fight a battle or exchange pokemons between players.

6. Here, you find many minigames that you can play with players from all around the world. A more detailed description of Festival Plaza has been provided in the chapter devoted to it.

7. In the Trainer's Passport, you can look up achievements that you have obtained during the game. Here, you can also look up information about your character.

8. Poke Pelago is used to develop your pokemons outside of your team's inventory. You can decide what isle you want to grow them on. Ensure large amounts of beans to feed them with and to receive higher profits.

9. Pokemon Refresh is used to care for your pokemon. Here, you will learn about your pokemon's attachment to you. To learn more, see the chapter devoted to this issue.

10. QR Scanner is used for scanning QR codes. Thanks to the codes, you can receive new items and pokemons.

11. In the Battle Video tab, you can watch all of the battles that you have recorded. In total, you can only have 100, so be diligent while using it!

12. In the last tab, you can change game options. You can:

  1. Change the speed of the displayed text
  2. Enable/disable battle effects
  3. Change fighting style
  4. Map buttons
  5. Decide what to do with pokemons after they are caught
