Once the cannons have fired, you may leave this area in order to attack some of Beckett's men (#1). I would also recommend moving towards the upper edge of the screen. You won't have to worry about the second cannon attack for the time being. Instead, you will have to wait for several glowing icons to appear near your cannons. Once this has happened, keep pressing the action key in order to use them (#2). You will witness short cut-scenes. These films will suggest that Jack is trying to move the ships closer to each other.

This operation is going to take a while, however you won't have to worry about the cannons on Beckett's ship. Instead, keep attacking his men. You should also observe what Beckett is currently doing. He will board your ship very soon. IMMEDIATELY start attacking him (#2). Obviously you won't kill him right away, but you'll at least wound him. Beckett will escape to his ship after he's going to take a few hits.

You will have to repeat all of these actions twice. Start off by attacking enemy units. Next, you will have to take cover in order to survive the cannon assault (#1). Once it's safe, leave the cover and wait for the allied cannons to be ready to fire. Use them to move Beckett's ship closer to yours. Once this is done, attack Beckett (#2) and ignore his soldiers.

The third sequence is going to be very similar to the second one. You will have to end it by attacking Beckett (#1), however this time he won't leave your ship. You must hit him at least 10 times in order to succeed. Once this is done, wait for the final cut-scene to be displayed on your screen (#2). Congratulations! You've just finished the game! Also, this doesn't mean you won't be able to do anything else. You are allowed to repeat all levels in order to fulfill previously skipped subquests. Good luck!
