V-Rex King Kong Guide

	Follow companions from the beginning of the stage and reach an ammunition crate. Don't forget to empty it.
	Go through the twisty corridor and l reach the exit from which you'll get to open space, near a gate.

Here you'll see quite an entertaining scene. On a footbridge in front of you, will be four remaining people. After a short while, a tyrannosaur rex will come into action and attack them, after which he will start chasing you.

Don't waste any time and follow your companions. After a short run you'll reach a broad meadow. Before the dinosaur gets there, he'll destroy a wall which is in its way (right picture).

Carl and Hayes will start opening the gate, and you divert the dinosaur's attention. At first it's best to throw a bone at him.

Once he turns to you and God forbid attacks you, fire a round with the machine gun at him (at his head when he's close to you).

One of best ways to run from him, and to give your friends time to open the gate, is running under the arch in the destroyed wall (left picture). By going under it, you'll make the dinosaur go around it - then run under it again and you're safe again. Unfortunately, the tyrannosaur will get irritated by this pretty fast and might destroy the arch (left picture).

Another great way during the 'fight' is to kill one of the flying creatures (they cruise around above the 'fighting arena'). When you take one of them down, the tyrannosaur will start eating it instead of chasing you.

When the gate is open, your companions will inform you - by shouting.

Going through the gate won't end the pursuit, the dinosaur will make a hole in the wall beside the gate (left picture - he'll go for a different part of the wall). In order to survive, you have to run to the other side of the terrain and go behind a rock construction (right picture).

Once you're inside, go as far as you can inwards, to the wall opposite to the entrance, into the water. The dinosaur will want to get you out and will destroy the columns, but thanks to the water, your scent will disappear and he'll lose you. A scream from far away (Ann) will make him go away.

	Now, you have to return to the spot where you first met the huge reptile, to the closed gate. To open it, you have to take with you a special handle. It lies near the hole in the wall (picture).
	If you're fast and run after Carl (to the spot, where during the fight you ran under the arch), You'll see the tyrannosaur leaving through the trees.

When you place the handle in the proper spot in the pole, open the gate or one of your companions will do it for you. Go through it, and then through the wood from the footbridge which was destroyed earlier by the tyrannosaur. The wood will break when you'll be crossing it and you'll be separated from comrades again.

Climb the rock, and go into the cave in which you'll end this emotional stage.
