The King of Shadows  (59/74)

Now is yours last chance to rest and regroup. When you’re ready, activate the portal in the middle of the room. The King of Shadows will show himself at last.

The battle consists of three separate phases. In the first one you’re fighting a moderately strong form of the King of Shadows – just strike him fast and hard (but leave the best spells for later). When he disappears, you’ll be attacked by smaller versions of him. They’re quite strong and come in great numbers. You just have to defeat enough of them and the statues that surround you will be purified. You’ll then face the final form of the enemy.

This time you first have to bring down all 5 of the statues. You can’t normally attack them, so you’ll have to right-click them and choose “Bash”. It’s best to divide the party into at least two teams and destroy the statues simultaneously. Keep the enemy busy by summoning creatures that he can kill. When all 5 statues are destroyed, use the Sword of Gith (you don’t have to use the main character with it) to destroy the portal in the middle of the hall. It’s quite resistant to damage, but there’s no real way of speeding things up here. When you destroy it, all that’s left it to finish off the King himself. Plus, watch a pretty lame ending scene. And that’s it, folks.

HINT: The commentaries that you’ll hear at the end depend on multiple choices you made throughout your adventure, such as Shadow Thieves’ position in Neverwinter or the strength of the Keep.

THE WORSTTTTTTTT END EVERRRRRRRRRR.
The end really almost make me uninstall the game, almost make me to call to Atari Greece distributor Mr Stasinopoulos about there lame job,
and almost crashed my computer (honestly not even my computer couldn't believe that some 2d graphics and a "weird" narration would be for the outro and crashed I had to play the last battle again to see it hull.

I really can't understand y they afford some much time spending work for making a nice plot, a nice graph engine and they just couldn't afford 30 more minutes for a complete narrative outro (c'mon I am not asking the time eating 3d cinematic, just a complete narrative outro without the unproffessional gaps and the lame voice... C'MON!!!!)

You really managed to convert, with that end, a totally great game from a masterpeice to a homemade kidsplay.

I really spend some much time completing the game and what was the reward, really what was the reward... a lame, sack, unprofessional ending. Where are the great ending movies to reward your eye for staying sleepless in order to finish the game, where are the insiring narrations to make u want more and more?
Maybe we have to forget those good times cause this is 2007 and everything is about MONEY!!!

Cheers and sorz for all the "rumble mumble" of mine but I couldn't keep it inside me for any longer.

The portal can be hard to click on... I had to make the camera go into an overhead angle and keep moving the mouse all over it slowly until the cursor turned into something to target it with... same thing when having to attack it later on, not as difficult, but still pretty hard.

that's the worst game ending ever! some lame dude talking about how things end up after you have defeated the King of shadows. Really unproffesionally made.
