Mission 0 - Prologue: Awakening | Walkthrough MGS V: TPP Guide

General information on the mission

It may take you, as long as, an hour to complete the prologue of Metal Gear Solid V. This is so, mainly because there are quite a few cutscenes to watch. The prologue itself, is not that easy, anyway. The protagonist may die in several locations here and this results from the fact that, at the beginning, he is unarmed. Therefore, try and follow Ishmael and follow his instructions.

Tasks available in the mission

• SECONDARY (1/2): Completed the mission without triggering reflex mode - Just to remind you, this mode is triggered automatically, after an enemy spots you. The purpose of this is to allow you to eliminate this opponent in slow motion. Of course, you can complete the mission flawlessly and avoid any open confrontation, but you can just as well, disable Reflex Mode in the game's main menu.
• SECONDARY (2/2): Completed the mission without allowing the Man on Fire to attack even after meeting up with Ocelot - What is meant here is the final part of the mission. After you pass by the group of enemies in the main vestibule, you need to leave the hospital as quickly as possible and, during the horseback escape, you need to prevent that opponent from launching his fire attacks (use the shotgun at the appropriate moments).

Note! The main task, i.e. The one connected with escaping the hospital, does not appear on the missions list.
