Cloud City Trap  (30/39)

True Jedi Story – 11 000. Not an overwhelming amount, should be no problem. Just try not to die too much.

True Jedi Freeplay – 16 000. It’s even easier than the Story Mode.

Power Brick. Just behind your X-Wing at the beginning.

Minikit

#1

Use the detonator to blow up the grid at the right side of the first room (you can reach it as R2).

#2

Use the bounty hunter access door just after the stationary gun room.

#3

In the first Vader fight area, use the Dark Side on the control lever to the left, and then use the crane to throw one of the stormtroopers into the freezing chamber.

#4

Shoot the wall shown on the screenshot, and use the step to reach another minikit.

#5

At the end of the same section as #4, use R2 to reach the next one.

#6

In the second Vader fight area, there’s a tunnel that can be used by a small character. The minikit is on the other side.

#7

Hit the corner of the platform you’re standing on when fighting Vader for the third time.

#8

At the beginning of the last section.

#9

A little bit further from #8, jump towards the screen to get it.

#10

Use the bounty hunter door at the end of the level.

comments and responses

If you self destruct over the trapdoor it should let you access the minikit straight away. (No patience needed!) Self destruct can be bought at Mos Eisley Cantina and can be used with any of the robot characters. Hope this is helpful to someone.

OK, I got every canister except the one under the corner of the platform. I smashed it, I bashed it, I stabbed it, I jumped on it, I threw bounty hunter thermals at it, but it won't come open up.

I exited and went through it all again and got the same problem. It actually looks like its sneering at me now.

I've heard of some people having this problem in other places, it really does drive you nuts. Any clues how to fix what is broken? Or rather, how to break what won't.

TIA

In the Complete Saga (on the Wii) I can't find anyway to explode the trap door in #7 to get the minikit -- any clue?

The picture for the power brick looks deceiving. It is literally RIGHT BEHIND your X Wing. The picture they show is after you have picked it up. All you have to do is make sure you are close to the plane in the back of it and you will pick it up.
Okay, I figured it out.

I don't see the power brick either.
Yeah.

I don't see the power brick at all, am I missing something?

I was standing too close to the tunnel. Try it after you get Vader to move on to the next room. Then try going into the tunnel from just a little bit further back from the entrance. You may have to try several positions to get it to work. Same thing for going back out. If you get stuck in the cage, use 2 player mode to have the player in the cage drop out, and then the CPU will automatically make him come out.
Okay, I have the answer.

Bob, if you have the answer, you'd better explain it a little better. I've tried two controllers, I've tried every small character including the Ewok. I have the minikit detector turned on, and it shows that this is the only kit missing. Beelz: it seems like a global programming error, not a single CD glitch.

Ok, I have a problem on the Cloud City Trap level in Free Play. You see, I need just 1 more minikit, and I have 9/10, but I can't collect the one where you have to go through the tunnel accessed by a small character WITH ANY OF THE SMALL CHARACTERS!!! I think it's a glitch, because all of the sites said to enter the tunnel. Should I trade in the game for a new CD or what?
