General advices  (2/16)

Karma

Karma decides who you really are. During the game, you will have to choose between good and evil a dozen of times – between loyalty and dreams of might. Your choices aren’t just limited to pressing a button. Their type is strictly connected to the gameplay and the powers that you will be able to use. Of course the citizens of Empire City will react differently, depending on who you are – there’s quite a difference between a hero and a villain. All aspects of the moral choices will be explained during the tutorial and the powers are described in the menu which you use to buy them for the experience points gained. Thanks to this approach, you will probably want to finish the game twice: as a hero and as a bandit. It will allow you not only to hear several different dialogues, but also to collect more Trophies.

Stunts

Stunts are some of the ways in which you can deal with enemies. It’s good to remember what you have to do for a certain stunt, because by performing them you get additional experience points. Summing up, there are 21 stunts in the game. Here’s the list:

Melee Finisher – Defeat an enemy with a melee attacks.

Highfall – Kill an enemy by throwing him off a building. Of course the Shockwave is the best for this job.

Enviro Take Down – Kill an enemy with an environmental explosion. Shoot a gas cylinder or a generator.

Flying Melee – Kill an air borne enemy with a melee attack.

Sticky bomb – Kill an enemy by sticking a shock grenade to him.

Crush – Crush an enemy with an object. Use the Shockwave on cars.

Crowd Control – Kill five enemies at once. It’s easiest done by throwing a grenade into a bunch of scorpions.

Unquencheble Thirst – Transfer to 4 different grinds without touching anything else, for example a train track.

Air Strike – Kill an enemy with Lightning Bolt while jumping.

Up Close and Personal – Defeat five enemies within 30 seconds using only melee attack. The scorpions are ideal for this.

Air Sticky Bomb – Stick a grenade to an air-borne enemy - for example a flying machine.

Flying Head Shot – Headshot an air-borne enemy. Use the Shockwave to send enemies flying.

Ride The Lightning – Kill an enemy with a Precision shot while grinding on a wire.

Blast & Bolt – Throw an enemy with the Shockwave and kill him using the Lightning Bolt.

Insult To Injury – Stick a grenade to an enemy and kill him before it explodes with a Shockwave or a Precision shot.

Splash And Crash – While in the hit an enemy with lightning and then with a Thunder Drop. Use Precision in order to have more time.

Have A Nice Fall – Kill 3 enemies at once by making them fall from a high place using the Shockwave.

Suspended Sentence – Kill an air-borne enemy using the Thunder Storm.

Premature Detonation – Kill an enemy by making a Kamikaze enemy explode near them.

Right Back At Ya – Wait for an enemy to throw a grenade at you and use the Shockwave to make it fly back.

Wack A Mole – Kill a Conduit with s Thunder Drop.

Blast Shards

The shards are leftovers of the explosion, scattered all around Empire City. By collecting them, you will be able to store more and more electricity. Beneath is a list how much shards you need to achieve another energy level.

5 shards

15 shards

20 shards

30 shards

Every next level - 30 shards

There is a given number of shards on each of the islands. There are 147 of them in the Neon District, 135 in the Labyrinth and „only” 68 in the Historic District. You can find their exact location on the maps in the other chapter of the guide.
