Ascalon City
The largest city and cultural center of this now-ruined empire. Ascalon City is one of only two remaining in the entire kingdom. Though the buildings have fallen and the cathedrals are a shambles, the people here live on in the shadow of what once was.

Deliver the Vanguard equipment to Captain Arne in Ascalon City. Reward: 500 xp, Focus Item (Energy +6 req. 5 Healing Prayers).
Quest: Barradin's Advance. Go to the Hammer Gate. Talk to Gate Guard Hollis. Reward: 250 xp.
Quest: Fires in The East. Find the Charr fires northeast of the frontier Gate. Kill the Flame Keeper and extinguish the flames. Reward: 500 xp, Smiting Staff (Energy +4, Light Dmg: 3-4 req. 4 Smiting Prayers, Two-handed), Long Sword (Slashing Dmg: 7-10 req. 4 Swordmanship).

Primary Quest: Defend the Wall. Talk to Squire Zachery at the Great Northern Wall. Reward: 500 xp.
Quest: Scavengers in Old Ascalon. Go to the ruins in Old Ascalon. Clear out any scavengers. Return to Warmaster Tydus for your reward. Reward: 500 xp, Battel Axe (Dmg: 5-12 req. 3 Axe Mastery).
Quest: Recruit for Hollis. Go from town to Old Ascalon and find the Army Recruits. Lead all three recruits west along the wall to the far gate and present them to Gate Guard Holls. Return to Gate Guard Hollis for your reward. Rewards: 500 xp, Focus Items (Energy +6 req. 5 Healing Prayers).
Quest: The Troublesome Artifact. Starting at the Frontier Gate, follow the road south through the Eastern Frontier and into Pockmark Flats. Return to Wyrmaster Tydus for your reward. Reward: 500 xp, Focus Item (Energy +6 req. 5 Healing Prayers).
