You can find Aila in a cave where Asaru’s Nomads lives. You can finish this quest in two ways: kill al. No9mads and take Aila to Braga, or accept Asaru’s and bring Aila to Braga to cheat Nafalem. |

Bernado’s tribute
It’s a part of the big quest connected with collecting a tribute for Nafalem.

Bernado is not going to pay for the second time. The only way to collect his tribute is to beat him. Be careful not to kill him. |

Jose’s tribute
It’s another part of Nafalem’s quest connected with collecting a tribute.

There are no problems with Jose – he pays his money without a word. Jose also gives you another quest (described later). |

Luka’s tribute
Another quest connected with collecting a tribute for Nafalem.

Tribute from Braga
Nafalem gives this quest. It’s a start of the whole series of quest connected with a tribute collecting.

To finish this quest you have to talk with Tufail (it’s one of the firs Hashishin you meet entering Varant) and do few quests for him. And after each quest report to Nafalem. |

Escort Riordiana
Riordian the water mage gives this quest. You can meet him in Mora Sul Ruins. You have to escort him to the place he points you (Asaru’s cave). Riordian cannot get killed.

Follow Tufailem
Tufail gives this quest connected with collecting a tribute. You have to escort Tufaila to the place he points (bandits’ cave). Tufail cannot get killed.
Benefits:
Bounty hunting: Asaru
Jose the headhunter gives this quest (you meet when collecting a tribute).

Asaru is your first target. You can find Asaru doing quest Riordian. Kill Asaru and his companions (then you can’t finish the quest from the Nomads). |

Bounty Hunting: Braga
Jose the bounty hunter gives this quest. You complete this quest by killing the Nomads: Asaru, Malir and Taklar.
Benefits:
- Experience points: 1500
- Reputation: Braga +5
Bounty hunting: Malir
It’s a part of bounty hunting in Braga.

This time Malir is your target. Malir and his companions are hidden in the cave near Braga. Kill them all. |

Bounty hunting: Taklar
It’s another part of quest from Jose.

Taklar is your last target. You can find him in the ruins north from Braga (you can do other quests in the ruins). |

The return of Abbas
This quest appears during a conversation with Abbas, a looser who has been banished from Braga for loosing a tribute. When you complete tribute collecting for Nafalem, Abbas will be able to get back to town

Asaru’s companion – Marus, gives this quest.

Marus needs some equipment before he starts to fight. You have to bring him 3 bundles of weapon. If you don’t have it look for it in Bernado’s store. |

The chalice of the water vendors
Abbas gives this quest when you collect the tribute. Abbas’s part was a chalice of the water vendors. Unfortunately Abbas lost it when get robbed by bandits. You can take the chalice back after killing bandits (Tufail bring you to them). The chalice is in the chest.
Benefits:
- Experience points: 1500
- Reputation: Braga +5
The ruin fields of Braga
Ayitos one of Asaru’s friends gives this quest.

The Nomads are going to gather in the ruins near Braga. You have to go there first and clear the area. You face a lot of jackals and Taklar’s bandits in the ruins. Kill them all. |

- Reputation: Nomads +5
Dark snapper leather
Luka gives this quest when you want a tribute from him.

Luca needs a few dark snapper skins to prepare an armor (he needs five pieces). You can find dark snappers north from Braga, near the ruins. Diego can hunt with you (described later). |
Benefits:
Secret dealings
After killing Taklar you can find a document being a proof of Bernado’s secret dealings (he cooperates with bandits). You can take it to Nafalem (sometimes you can’t do anything because he doesn’t want to talk).
Benefits:
- Experience points: 1500
- Reputation: Braga +10
The liberation of Braga
You can finish this quest cooperating with Asaru’s Nomads. When you complete all quest for Asaru’s companions (described earlier) start the liberation. Braga is a small town so the fight is not tough (and you have companions).

- Reputation: Nomads +5

The quest "Secrets dealings" does activate itself by reading the note. However, this quest is canceled by completing the quest "Bernado's Tribute" (yet another bug of Gothic 3).

Erratum :
* I meant Nafalem, not Tufail.
* Nafalem does talk to me, but only to offer magic training.
Clarifications :
* No quest is open by reading Bernado's note. I tried to read it several times, including by loading and getting Bernado's note again. (It is my only one in the "documents and books" section of the inventory, meaning that it opens by itself when I look into this section, so maybe that is the problem ? Has anyone got a quest opened by his first document that opens itself ?)
* I tried to start again, killing Teklar's people, getting the note, opening it (or rather letting it open itself), and going to Jose for the Teklar's bounty before speaking to Nafalem
* This is not actually my only document-note : I came by a note before in Tamkosch's tent in Al Shedim, but I could not find it anywhere to be read, nor in the inventory usual sections nor in the written documents section. I saved and tried to test with several previous saved games, with the same results. Eventually, as after some researches on the internet I did not find anything indicating a quest linked to Tamkosch's note, I did not consider it worthwhile to star again half the wide Al Shedim Ruins exploration and hard-worn cleaning only in order not to take that useless note, so I went on with it.
So :
Questions : Amongst those who succeeded this quest, are there any who remember how they proceeded ? Did anyone have had this same problem and resolved it ? Did anyone actually got the quest when the document opened itself because it was their only one ? Else, how did the quest opened itself ? Where can I find a note that will be in the same "written documents" so that I can test if the problem comes form the self-opening when there is only one document ? Else, any other ideas or clues at all about how I am to proceed ?
Meanwhile, I shall load a previous save (starting before I explored and cleaned the whole Braga's ruins and its surroundings, but at least that's not as bad as starting over from before the others Braga's quest which I did very early in the game... though I could try in order to test but I would have to run al the way back to Myrtana each time :S)
I really hope someone will be able to help, or at least give me hints by answering those questions, for it is not my only bugged quest (having succeeded all Hashishin quests in Lago save one, hunted for days in Nordmar for wolf furs and done some other quests in the meanwhile, I had to start all that over as I could not get the alchemist's drawing... and decided to do something else untill I dare try again.)

* Sorry for the lenght, but I'd rather give a full account of my problem lest people willing to help should waste time either asking details that should have been given or missing the point and answering helpfully for nothing (which is really frustrating for both the one helping and the one needing help...).

If you were following him, I doubt he ran across any orcs, you must have attracted them to him. Anyway, the cave is sort of obsurely marked on your map. Take the road south to Mora Sul and bear off it to right until you are at the base of a mountain range, head south along the base of the range until you come to an area infested with bloodflies, look around you should see the cave mouth. My personal opinion is that using a good sword like the flame sword and a shield is preferable to two weapon wielding. You can learn sword and shield mastery very early in the game, by the time you can learn master two weapon, you will be close to the end of the game.
Yes the nomads are like the rebels and the hashishin much like the orcs. Again I caution you to not be so hasty to liberate, and you will be attacked on sight after liberating any two. He will lead you to Asuru's cave. There are beasts along the way, so you will need to save before starting the trip. And you may have to let him show you the way until you find critters. Reload, go clear the way, go back to Riordan, save, let him show you the way again, repeat the reload until way is clear of things that might kill Riordan.
