[Mission 07] Quarterback - Objective: Get to shanty town (58/91)

No matter what you may be thinking, you DON’T have to hurry to your destination, especially since there are A LOT of enemy forces in the area and you probably would have ended up dead. Start moving towards nearby crossroads (#1). I would recommend that you stick close to the buildings that are located on your right. You will also have an opportunity to use them for cover. There are a lot of terrorist here. You will have to kill them on your way. Be careful! There’s a sniper on your left (#2). He is hiding inside one of the watch towers. Order one of your teammates to take him out. You can also take a closer look at the tactical view in order to know exactly where he is.

Remember to stick close to the buildings on the right. I would recommend that you leave the rest of the squad behind. There’s a small opening (#1). It’s best if they stayed here. Start moving towards a large roadblock. You MUST be very careful. Lean out carefully in order to kill some enemy soldiers (#2). I wouldn’t recommend moving any further. We’ll try and surprise the terrorists from the right flank.

It would be best if you’ve chosen a group of buildings that should be located in front of you (#1). There’s a small “maze” here for you to deal with. Be careful. One of the terrorists may be hiding inside a building (#2). You will have to take him out quickly.

Now you will have to lean out in order to start shooting at the remaining enemy soldiers (#1). Use the tactical view. Thanks to it, you should know exactly where they’re standing. You could also throw some of the carried grenades at them. Next, take out those terrorists who were standing by the armored vehicle. Once they’re gone, eliminate a gunner (#2). You will also have to watch out for an enemy sniper. He is hiding in one of the nearby towers. Once all of the enemies are dead, order your teammates to join you.

	Like the man says, take it slow and careful, and conserve your ammo - you have to kill a lot of BGs in this mission! A SCAR-H with grenade launcher is a useful tool, as one grenade will take out an enemy armored car and all its crew (such as the one that appears right at the start - chase him and waste him!). 	i like to use the sniper rifle from brettzie's mod in this part of the mission. after taking out the initial soldiers and the sniper, i go into the sniper tower and pick off the enemy by the roadblock. i can usually get most of them from that vantage point and other nearby rooftops.	quartet1977 05/10/2007 16:20

	The path that worked for me is like it says in the walkthrough, stay to the right buildings but go all the way to the right of the roadblock, when you look at the top of the map it should be the left of the roadblock, there is a point before where you have to run and the enemy will spot you, the you hide behind the building, wait a little and look at your top view map if you see soldiers comming to you take them down, its really easy since you have so much cover from the buildings. once you are done take out the roadblock, ass soon as you take down the big machine gun you can, carefully, get your guys to lay some covering fire on the road block while you anhiliate the rest of the soldiers. :)	totorito 07/11/2006 03:16
