| you all must have it on easy setting, cause there is 3 tanks and 3 rocket launchers in towers.. first move your tank out and to the right and then left up the first street and just around that corner and kill the first enemy tank and stop there. two of the rocket launches can be distroyed at the rooftop where u distroyed the havoc. stay in between building by stairs and use your rocket launcher if equiped or just shoot the left tower first(watch out for the 3rd tank its just around the corner)..climb the stairs and shoot the second rocket launcher ..run back down towards the tank bunker at start and go to where the first tank is distroyed theres a building just to the left with a set of stairs go there and snipe the third tower (might take more than one or two shots, makes sure there all dead before you move on). after that you dont need to distroy the tanks you can take them up the street after the destroyed tank toward the exit without trouble. then run up the same street for extration. | netjunky 26/03/2009 19:30 |
| If you want to protect your tanks, have you and one of your men use ZEUS to take out the enemy tanks, then run for the Camp Exit and rapidly take out the last sniper, who has a rocket launcher. You don't need ZEUS for the Havocs, which are actually very easy to take out. Use the SCAR-H with grenade launcher. You just get their attention and bring them in close so they start chaingunning you (you're gonna do WHAT?) :-)
then you take them out with your grenade launcher - one shot, one kill. Alternatively, a clip of SCAR-H rounds will take out a Havoc. | MadMacStew 02/11/2007 07:41 |
 | easy - use the tanks to do the work, just try to get your tanks behind enemys tanks. you have to wait around abit.
watch the barrow of the tanks - when the barrow is away from your tank - then make your kill. | t2m9a 04/07/2007 21:16 |
| when you get to the extraction point equip the zeaus for the next mission | sinky 21/04/2007 19:19 |
| After your tanks take out the first couple of vehicles.order your them left out the hanger then right and up the end of the road and park them under the large water tower(use your tactical view to move them)There are now two tanks on the same stretch of road on the left and one on the the right.Wait till the tank on the right goes past and ambush him from behind, you get a few shots in before he can react.Using the building for cover you can get all the way to the drop point use your tactical view and you can see when your enemies are and sneak past.Did it this way first time although it took me an afternoon to figure it out ,killing 3 tanks is real hard killing one and being a sneaky ghost is much easier | sinky 21/04/2007 19:02 |
| Not sure if anyone has any Zeus left at this stage to destroy the tanks. Agree with HINT, one tank for each enemy tank, no problem. I normally run on ahead and clear the towers from a distance and see the enemy tank ahead. Then I order my tank to attack it. | goldLeader 08/03/2007 04:37 |
| ZEUS is very good against tanks. i thought about running north-east, towards the tunnell where I came from and hitting the third tank with a ZEUS. anybody done that? | kielu 04/02/2007 01:29 |
| Could you destroy the tank with an ZEUS? | dworf 28/01/2007 11:28 |
| mark: I had a crash when i boarded the APC at the end. there was no save done, so i had to do this scenario again. and again. and again - until i installed patch 1.35. | kielu 04/01/2007 16:22 |
| when I encounter the first Tank the game crashes has anyone else encounted this? | mark 06/12/2006 18:53 |
| Agree with YuSwa, ambush is right way to go. Good position is to the right of top part of first tank patrol route.
Both tanks should stand in such a way that they can fire at back&side of first enemy tank (it takes few shots to kill it and it won't fight back - AI could be better).
Same with the second one, shoot at it when it appears in space between buildings in bottom part of its patrol route.
This worked out well although one tank took light damage (status bar still light green). | Ray 09/11/2006 10:22 |
| There are two allied tanks at your disposal and there are two enemy tanks to kill. Use one tank for each. If you use one tank for two enemies your tank will suffer great damage and will most likely be destroyed thus failing your mission. Your allied tank should be tougher than each enemy tank. | Hint 01/11/2006 09:57 |
| By going right instead of left at the intersection in photo #4, I was able to (with good timing) get both of the tanks and my team to the extraction without encountering any of the enemy tanks. Do keep and eye out for those guard towers. You will still be within reach of there anti-tank missles. | ToW-DeUcEsWiLd 05/10/2006 02:49 |
| There are a total of 3 enemy tanks by the way.
Totoroito is right, the tank on the right can be avoided, he drives in the tunnel to the right and never comes back (leaves 2 other enemy tanks). For the other tanks: I try to ambush them, by approaching the enemy tank from 2 sides, with my tanks. Most of the time an one on one battle between the tanks gets my tank blown up and then the mission is over, so I use my 2 tanks to fire simultanously to destroy 1 enemy tank.
As for the snipers, my tanks aimed for them theirselves. First I didn't understand what they were shooting at, as the tanks were all gone or not in sight, untill I saw the plumes of smoke comming from the towers. You might also try to order them to attack the towers, Boom!
Good luck! | YuSwa 21/09/2006 09:09 |
| For some reason my tanks dont target the other tanks and one ends up being destroyed and the mission is over.. I use the tactical view to target them using the f2 key but my tanks either dont aim at them, get stuck or aim but never shoot, I was able once to get it to aim to a tank and fire but the enemy tank was not hit (strange because my tank was about 3 meters from that one, I tried getting one of my tanks to hide, then I will plan to move it and attack the enemy tanks, then I will go out and get the attention of the tank, once the tank shoots at me (when I am behind cover) I make my tank execute the plan while the enemy tank reloads.. but the tank gets where its supposed to get and does not target the tank and gets killed, so... after many tries I took the right side of the map where there is only one tank which I avoid and goes away into the tunnel and my tanks then can get safely to the extraction point.... weird.. maybe I have to issue orders to my tanks by using the HUD menu and pointing at the tanks that have to be destroyed instead of using the tactical view.. maybe I will try that when I replay the game ;) | totoroito 25/08/2006 09:48 |
