The drone jammers are frequently located on the side.

Many players of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will love the option to use drones and they will use them against all opponents. Properly developed (by buying a few skills) drone will give you great advantage over the opponent. However, sooner or later you will reach a place where there will be a jammer that will make it impossible to use the drone. It is a nightmare for all drone users, but it can be solved easily.

All you need to do is locate the titular drone jammer. A drone jammer is a small device that looks like radar on wheels. It can be found in many Unidad bases and near the more important places (some of them are related to the main story missions). How to find such device if you can't use the drone? You should climb on the highest place in the area, activate binoculars and search the area. Drone jammers are frequently placed on the sides. You will rarely find them in the center of a base or location.

Once you find the device, you will have a few ways to deactivate it:

  • Turning the power in the base off (described in a separate chapter of this guide) - once you do it, you will deactivate all systems in the base, including the drone jammer.
  • Getting close to the device and interacting with it. This will enable you to silently deactivate the jammer, but very frequently reaching it is very hard.
  • Blowing it up with a mortar. If you know where the jammer is, get in the distance of about 150 meters from it, release the drone (it shouldn't be jammed at such distance) and use it to call a mortar strike. One accurate hit should blow it up.
  • Shooting it with a rifle. A few shots should be enough for the device to explode. The problem is usually the location of the device that makes it hard to shoot it.
