Some of the players may react negatively to your words, which may lower the morale.

Interaction with the entire team is a perfect opportunity to react to good/bad air in the team resulting from misunderstandings between the manager and the players. To talk toy your players, you need to access Team-> Team meeting. When the time is right, this will automatically start the conversation with the players - choose our words carefully, because the entire first team reacts to them. The meeting may end in boosting or lowering the team's morale, depending on the responses that you pick. Team meetings cannot be held too frequently and you need intervals between them (around a month or longer).

When to call a meeting?

- at the beginning of a season, or when you come to the club. Usually, the morale goes up then, after you simply say "Hello" or explain expectations for the coming season,

- during a winning streak, to try to raise morale and encourage players to work harder,

- whenever your assistant suggests that. This usually means dissatisfaction of one of the players, e.g. after you have stripped the captain of his function.

The reason for calling a meeting may be, e.g. rejecting a players request to be included in the first line-up, which will meet negative reactions from the rest of the team. - How to call a team meeting? - Questions and Answers - Football Manager 2016 - Game Guide and Walkthrough
The reason for calling a meeting may be, e.g. rejecting a player's request to be included in the first line-up, which will meet negative reactions from the rest of the team.

Meetings with the team are, predominantly, an opportunity to raise their morale and discuss matters players are dissatisfied with. If reactions of the players were positive, agree with them. If not, go for the "This is not the kind of reaction I expected" style. Watch your words, because in case of high dissatisfaction, authorities may ask you to improve morale of the team.
