Welcome to the unofficial guide to an incredible modern first person shooter game – F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault Recon). The guide consists of a detailed walkthrough with the locations of all items and enemies. Additionally, you’ll find clues of how to deal with certain situations and combats. All items that you can pick up are distinguished from the main body of the text by means of the green color, while telephones and laptops providing you with essential information – by means of the brown color. We hope you enjoy the guide and the game as well.

just completed the game. Decently put together game no real complaints, aside of the scary stuff was stupid - pfft. I dont get scared by "scarey stuff" on the other side of the monitor screen. The ending was definately the best part. I'd have to say the scariest part in the game was when the gas pipe blows out in the first half of the game and everything starts blowing up, you arent sure whats going to happen, and also near the end of the game with what happens in the vault was pretty awesome too.

about the best shooter as I have ever played, the AI is better than DOOM 3 but the scary stuff is a little distracting more than spooky - the only scary part is the number of deamons it throws at you at the end levels - although I did like Alma climbing onto the chopper at the end - hope we get to play with her more in the expansion

Activate sound in FEAR so it doesn't kick you out of the car so quickly.

EXCELLENT walkthru! Very well-written, lots of screenies. I only referred to it twice, just to find the way out of the level (yeah, I'm embarassed), but it sure helped me out. Thanks for the work put into this excellent walkthru.

Hi, has anyone ever encountered the following problem: the game starts up and gets to the point where you are in a car driving through an alley - you receive your first set of instructions, however, before the car stops, the game wrenches your character through the back of the car and then right and physically places you in the alley dumpster - and you then remain stuck in that scenary and unable to start the game - you can fire your gun but cannot jump over the car to start the game. Sounds like a major bug but I haven't heard anyone else with the problem.

Hey, I appreciate the time you took to create this helpful guide. My question is, can F.E.A.R. be played using an analouge gamepad, and if so how. Thank you for your time.
