 | I always take the assassin's bribe and then kill him anyway for the reward | Legendary Chicken Chaser 13/11/2009 03:34 |
| Well, Lord love a duck, I forgot something else.
A: Pulling the weapon will cause him to talk to you, but you'll put it back, per his request. You have to take it back out to prompt the deal making.
B: This is not an offical quest, which means as much as I'd like for it to be so... Hero Saving is not an option here.
There, finally got it all, geez. | AingealWroth 09/11/2009 07:23 |
| Should also add:
My Hero is intended to be a pure and honest sort of guy... which means that this quest caused me a lot of greif. I mean, no personal gain is sort of the motto... but I need money for the Paladin title, Bright Plate armor, and that Masterwork Greatsword I've always wanted... Double crossing the Assassin brings in the most money, almost totally balances out the evil-to-good point ratio, and I end up getting rid of a very bad guy. But... the guard isn't exactly innocent either! So... I should... uh... damnit. Double cross then donate (most of) the proceeds to the Temple of Light? Think that if I do that and pray to Avo, the big guy will arrange a proper um... 'slap on the hand' for our bad guard friend? I sure hope so, lol, because that's what I'll do. | AingealWroth 09/11/2009 07:18 |
| So I grabbed the quest, saved, then ran off to see what the heck is up with all the diffrent reports of what is possible and what is not on this quest.
The guard talks about you being clever, but, no, this does not mean you have to wear the Bandit Outfit to get in again. The Assassin will also totally ignore you until you attack him or draw your sword. I suggest listening to him talk first, it helps you decide what to do. You receive 20 evil points for accepting the Assassin's deal, 2500g and... no renown, I am sure this means word didn't get out, so that if you are good your reputation is safe. You receive 18 good points for killing the Assassin and his guards, as well as an Assassin's Contract (this is part of the quest, useless otherwise). It is not possible to kill the guard after you recieve his gold. ~!~I repeat, it is not possible to kill the guard after you have gotten the reward from him~!~ You can still accept the Assassin's and the guard's money (if you accept then kill the Assassin). Sadly, killing guard is rather entertaining, just make sure to stay out of Oakvale for a bit, and you're fine. | AingealWroth 09/11/2009 07:08 |
 | I think i'd have to disagree with you there. It's possible to use the frying pan to kill an earth or rock troll (: | Truuninja 22/03/2008 19:40 |
| not completely useless you could make some eggs or bacon or shit like that. but in the fighting sense ya it's useless | Bloodthirster 02/03/2008 08:20 |
| Its located behind the haystack outside the barn at the Orchard Farm. However, be sure you get ahold of all 5 treasure clues first or else the pan is useless. | Legendary Chicken Chaser 04/02/2008 00:16 |

| pretty much sums it up. | Cheater 21/09/2007 00:06 |
| My frying pan is the rarest and most legendary of all weapons created, and it shall return once again for glory in Fable 2.
The world hast fell into a dark torment.
All hope, slowly drains away.
The world of light, becoming darkness.
But then a great hero emerges.
Holding a weapon of intense bright light.
On top his head, a chicken hat.
The weapon, none other than the pan of legend.
The darkness, disappearing from around him.
The people realize, their savior hast returned.
To rid the world of evil once again.
This is the true legend of Fable.

| yah. its pretty cool to have. jus cus its a glitch weapon. come to think of it , that would make it more rare than a leg weapon cus youd need a rare glitch to happen. oh and speakin of glitches is it true that there is a glitch in the spot were you get the wellows pickhammer that if you keepp digging with ur back to the bak boundary youll go into like a glitch in the mapp that you basically can go anywere. i read it at gamewiners.com. but i think it was under the origonal. | the fable dude 19/09/2007 04:43 |
