Fighting  (4/68)

As you surely know by now, there are three basic ways to defeat enemies in Fable: melee, ranged and magic, here known as Will. The difficulty level of the game is quite low, so you should manage to do just fine no matter how you spend your experience points. Try to keep in mind a few hints, though.

Melee – the easiest and simplest method of exterminating everything that stands in your way. It’s important to learn how to dodge attacks (block + directional key), as they prove essential in some places of the game, mostly boss encounters, where you have to move quickly to be able to strike the enemy’s weak spot.

Ranged – once you get your Accuracy high enough, you can eliminaty virtually everything using your bow only. Yes, I mean bow, as the crossbows in the game are pretty weak and hard to aim in FPP view (camera problem). Just get yourself the Skorm’s Bow (The Chapel of Skorm quest) and you’re free to go when it comes to ranged combat. Remember you can perform headshots on some of the weaker enemies (ex. bandits).

Will – when investing experience points in magical spells, don’t ever forget that there’s quality over quantity. It’s a lot better to master 3 or 4 spells and raise their level high enough than to operate with a handful of weak and untrained ones. Spells you should take a closer look at are: Enflame (will get you through 90% of the boss fights), Multi Strike (ingenious spell when you are strong with melee – gives you up to 5 unblockable hits each time you cast it onto your sword), and Physical Shield (Combat Multiplier trick, explained above). Also, consider to get at least 1st level of Heal Life, as it’s very handy in the escort-like quests (those NPCs die so easily, don’t they?).

there are many reasons for war. and if we take each one at a time. then we can achieve peace.

i agree willuserher0, but if we got rid of one out of two reasons to fight, then even better.

thats what im saying, if everybody learned to respected everybodys religions then we wouldnt see much wars. but cheater,
economic issues are also reasons to wars.

Just to throw it out there, movies and video games do not entirely promote violence. Yes they may have some influence, but the majority of the blame is on the parents of these kids. Without proper guidance and clear explaination of the difference between realality and the fictional world, these kids are pretty much confused.

if religion isnt the reason for war, yet people dont respect other religions, then how is religion NOT the reason for war?!?! if religion didnt exsist anymore (as it shouldnt anyway) then people would believe there wouldnt be a good reason to fight anymore, resulting in peace (at least more peace than we have had for a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time.) and i agree eith you, if religions NEED to exsist, and there is no way in hell that they cant, then people need to respect other peoples religions.

you see cheater, religion isnt the reason for war. its the inability to respect other religions that is the reason for war.

getting rid of religions is impossible, we should make people respect other religions so that wars dont begin.

another thing that bother me is that after a massacre on a school have happened like in virginia people only
blame it on computer games. that is naive and dumb, just because you have seen a movie with a guy killing people
with guns doesnt make you a psychopath.

i take ALOT of things into perspective, as you very well know. hmmmmm....my cat is clawing up my curtains in my bedroom....dont know if i like that...anyway, like i said in another forum, i know there is always going to be a dipsh*t in the world that will find something to fight about, thats just how these people are. but most of the people that think like US can fix the world enough to where there is ALOT less suffering in the world. all we need to do is work together and we can do it......wow, dont i sound like a childrens tv show!!!!

I think positive also, but I take other things in perspective (Like I have said countless times before)

we rule this world, and we can control what happens. if everyone on earth wanted to be peacful, then we can be peacful! so yes, its possible to get rid of MOST suffering and agony and choas, but the world is never going to be perfect, no. and its attitudes like YOURS is the reason why we cant change the world. think more positivly!

cheater, you really dont understand that no matter what we do, chaos, pain and war will never die, no matter
how we struggle and fight it it will never end unless we all kill ourselfs. no matter if we get rid of religion or government, conflicts will never, EVER...........................................end.............
