Main battle in the server room | 12: Under Siege DMC: Devil May Cry Guide

Use a fact that battle begins after a while and search the vicinity. First of all, notice a Divinity Statue. Additionally, try to remember where the green plants are in order to regenerate yourself during the battle by destroying them if it is necessary.
In the first part of battle, you'll meet standard monsters with Ravagers. Use area attacks, using for example lately achieved Aquila. Observe Ravagers to not give them too many opportunities for successful attacks.
In the next part of battle you'll be attacked by another Ravagers and a Butcher. Begin with eliminating those first ones. Leave the biggest monster at the end, finishing him off as it's described above.
The third part of battle is, in my opinion, the easiest one because you have to eliminate only smaller versions of well known beasts, Rage Spawns. They don't deal big damage and die very quickly. To eliminate them quickly use area attacks.
The fourth part of the battle is also rather easy, although you have to use pistols to destroy Demonic Shard smoothly. If you see that you are not able to destroy a Shard in time, prepare to make an evasion, to avoid damage. When this part of battle ends, Vergil gives you a shotgun: Revenant.
After getting to the fifth part of battle, use your newly acquired shotgun to destroy Demonic Shards, because it's very efficient at short distance.
Sixth part of the battle is like the third one. Also here you have to eliminate a group of Rage Spawns. More interesting is the seventh one, because you'll meet Harpies there. Eliminate them using Aquila or pulling them with Angel Lift and killing in the air. Only when you finish off Harpies, take care of the remaining monsters. Help yourself with area attacks.
The last, eighth part of the battle is an encounter with adult Rage beasts. Focus on single target at once until you kill it. Be ready to avoid their attacks and retaliate when one of them gets furious. After winning this battle you'll see a cut scene which ends this mission.
