Empire of The Rising Sun - Advices and informations about fraction  (44/60)

  • Japan's campaign appears to be the hardest of all. It consists of several missions which difficulty level is far higher in relation to other tasks, including those from the other campaigns;
  • Japanese are building structures in a fairly awkward way. They create vehicles, which they can be unpacked into the buildings, such as MCV. On the one hand, such a solution allows the rapid rise a base anywhere on the map. On the other, rising of the main camp may take some time (cars must get to the build place) and requires instantly look at the vehicles;
  • Access to better units, Japanese are getting by improving individual structures. If a player wants to produce the best available artillery, he must choose one of its vehicle - factories and then purchase the improvement. Improvements are two-level, each of thee levels costs $ 750;
  • Japanese do not use the airports. All the air units are manufactured in barracks, armor facilities, factory-vehicles or in the shipyards. Such units as Strikers-VX, Mecha Tengu, or Sea Wings boats are able to transform into the flying machines;
  • Japan does not have too good land arsenal. I recommend only King Oni robots, which are the alternative for Soviets Apocalypse tanks and Allies Mirage tanks. They ensure a massive fire power and are well armored, but they must be protected against attacks from the air... and they are not amphibian;
  • The Japanese fleet is quite good, and with it’s type of units is resembles Allies navy. They are Shogun ships, equipped with long-range guns, Naginata cruiser and Yari submersibles to fight with other ships, and good anti-air Sea Wings ships. Unfortunately, in Empire campaign there is only small chance fully exploit the power of the Japanese naval;
  • Rocket Angels is an infantry equipped with jet packs and missile trays. I have to admit that this is one of the best units in the game. It cost only $ 900 per unit and verify very well at destroying absolutely everything (fleet, air units, tanks, infantry). Rocket Angels can only worry about the anti-air weapons. And rightly, because the only disadvantage of these units is a poor armor. Many missions in the Empire campaign, you can go on safely by sending dozens Rocket Angels against the enemy;
  • For the base defense you should use (except towers) units capable to combat against aviation. Yuriko, Mecha Tengu (transformed into flying version called Jet Tengu), Strikers-VX and Rocket Angels infantry are taking care of the hostile aircraft extremely well;
  • Allies have Chronosphere, the Soviets - Iron Curtain, and Japanese - Nanoswarm Hive. This is a pretty interesting technology. It allows you to create a force field, which has not pass both missiles and units. Thanks to Nanowarm Hive you can completely turn off selected area from the fight for a dozen seconds, hiding for example your buildings being under fire, under the nanocapsule. You can also close enemy tanks coming to attack you - thanks to such a ability, enemy machines will be completely excluded from the game for some time.
