[INTRODUCTORY CUTSCENE 1]

Completing the strike-force missions

If the alliance with China didn't take place, the U.S. president will try to explain to Prime Minister Chen that Menendez took over American drones that are attacking American and Chinese cities now. The Chinese Prime Minister won't believe that, which will make the President very upset (pictures above).

If the alliance with China took place, the U.S. President will say that all units have been prepared to defend Chinese cities against Menendez's attacks. Prime Minister Chen will thank her for that and say that the President's actions speak louder than her words. She will heave a sigh of relief (pictures above).

[INTRODUCTORY CUTSCENE 2]

Farid or Harper?

During the second introductory cutscene when you are all going in the truck, if Harper survived, he will calm the wounded agent down and give him a sedative injection (first picture above). If Harper is dead, Mason will do it (second picture above).

If Harper is alive, he'll sit down, but he won't join the conversation (first picture above). If he's dead, his place will be empty (second picture above).

After the accident, if Harper is alive, he will be the one to tell you about the situation (first picture above). If Harper is dead, you'll get that information from Samuels (second picture above). At this point, the proper mission will begin.

[HIGHWAY FIGHT]

Farid or Harper?

If Harper survived, he'll join the president's security team. He will be providing you with information when you're eliminating opponents on the highway. If he didn't survive, only two agents will protect the President, and Samuels will provide you with the information.

[TRUCK ACCIDENT]

Farid or Harper?

If Harper survived, he will get on the truck with you and talk to you about Menendez's plan for a while (first picture above). After the truck accident he will come out and will be helping you in the fight until the moment when a big building falls down on the street (behind the mall). He will also comment on the events in the street, and also praise you for destroying CLAWs. If Harper is dead, his place will be empty (second picture above), and the events will be commented on by Section.

[TO THE PLANE]

Farid or Harper?

When you awake, after the building has fallen down, if Harper survived, he will appear in front of you. You will both run up to Anderson aircraft and Harper will get on the ambulance (first picture above). From now on, he will be the one who will provide you with most information, while you'll be flying the airplane. If Harper is dead, Section will escort the physicians (second picture above), and Samuels will provide him with information about what happened.

When you get up after the parachute jump and landing, if Harper is alive, he'll come to you driving the ambulance, get out and congratulate you using a strong language (first picture above). If Harper is dead, Samuels will come to you in an armored truck and his praise will be more toned down (second picture above).
