FIRST ASSIGNMENT: Eliminate German patrols

This level is tied directly to the ending of the previous mission. This means Baker has to start the game without his usual equipment. You only have a pistol in your inventory [#187] and obviously this weapon won't be enough to eliminate larger groups of enemy soldiers. The first group will appear to the north (2 on the map) and it's important that you avoid being seen.

Your first assignment will be to acquire a more powerful weapon. I'd strongly recommend that you start running towards a hut (3 on the map) which can be found to the south-east of the hospital. Stay near the river at first, but then you'll have to turn north [#188]. Try getting there before one of German soldiers arrives near the hut.

Take cover behind the eastern wall of the hut and wait for the German soldier to arrive. Use your only weapon to kill him. You CAN'T allow him to return fire nor to find a good cover. He must die instantly, so you can approach his body and take his weapon. It's going to be a standard machine gun used by German soldiers - MP-40 [#189].

Notice that you only have one clip for your newly acquired weapon. As a result, you will have to travel to an ammo stash which can be found to the east [#190]. You must be extremely careful here, because the stash is in the open. Approach this area from the south and hide immediately after collecting supplies.

Notice that you've only been given ammunition. You won't be allowed to use grenades during the course of this mission. Enemy soldiers have probably gathered in front of the entrance (6 on the map). Attack them from the west. You can take cover behind the southern wall of the building or you can approach the sandbags (5 on the map) [#191].

Now you must start eliminating enemy units one by one. The most important thing for you to remember about is that you must lean out for a short period of time. Try getting closer to the entrance after defeating the first group [#192]. Monitor enemy movements with your tactical map and prevent them from surprising you.
