Mecha Base is a moving platform that can be found near Nene’s fortress, in north-western part of the world. In order to get inside, just stand on its way.
1F
Go north. At the junction take left and grab 7xMedals from a chest. Go north until you find more medals. Now turn west, then south. Defeat these Grim Security Mecha Droids and go north up until the end. Here’s a chest with Lv6-Magic Atk Up, as well as a black barrier chest with Ballet Shoes. Use the elevator now.
2F
Leave the room and turn right when you see the lasers. Get to the end of the corridor and turn left. Get to the southern end of the level. You’ll see three barriers: blue, red and white. Deactivate whem, but before you go through, head west. There’s a small room with some robo-guards in it. You have to defeat them to activate the elevator.
HINT: If you want to find a hidden spell here (Lv6-Previve), switch to Marumaro (LB/RB while in the menu switches characters – you knew that, right?) and use him to evade the lasers and get to a room in the north-eastern part of the level.
3F
Take 5xMedals from a chest and go west. Follow the corridor until you have to fight an egg-like creature. There are two chests here: one with 3xMedals, one with Belt of Hermes (it has a black barrier on it). Leave through the corridor to the north-east. Take Gravitic Earring from a chest. In the elevator room you will find Brawler Elixir and Ancient King’s Earring. Go further along the corridor to reach another guard room. Defeat them to unlock the elevator. Also, there’s a black chest with Eternity Bracelet here. Get back to the elevator.
4F
Take 7xMedals from a chest and go south. In there, grab 4xMedals and Prismatic Cyclone Bracelet. Head south. Defeat the robots and take 9xMedals. In the elevator room there are two more chest: with Missile Upgrade Part A and Gravitic Bracelet. Go to 5 floor.

It’s an easy boss. There’s no special tactics to this battle, so just hit and heal, as always. |
