On this page of the BioShock game guide, we have included the detailed Proving Grounds walkthrough. The leitmotif of this stage is the need to protect the little sister while she is busy collecting Adam. This forces numerous fights and you will have to defeat a Bouncer (duel with the mini-boss).

This is not a level in the full sense of the word. Your task here is to protect your little sister, who will collect Adam from three corpses (marked with asterisks on our map). This is not an easy task.

Most of the time you will be attacked by Splicers, as well as a lot of cameras and turrets. The defense systems don't respond to your presence (you are, after all, the Big Daddy), but they will attack the little sister. If the girl you are guarding dies, you will have to retreat to the nearest vent and hit it with your Wrench-the next one will appear. Don't worry, the loss of the sisters at this stage will not affect the end of the game.

Some additional tips:

1. Instead of destroying them, take control of cameras, turrets, and bots!
2. Use the environment: there are a lot of oil stains that you can set on fire.
3. Winter Blast is a good plasmid for this stage.
4. Your weapon does not hurt your sister, so feel free to throw grenades at her immediate surroundings.

At the end of the stage, a Bouncer will break through the wall. You will have to defeat him. Once you do this, you will get to the exit. Take the syringe that the girl will give you. There are quite a few distributors in this area that you should use. Buy a first aid kit, a syringe of Eva and cartridges. You can also spend the rest of Adam at the Gatherer's Garden. Get in the Elevator when you are ready to complete the game.
