This page of our guide to Beyond: Two Souls contains a description of The Black Sun scene. This is the final chapter of the game, which takes place on the premises of the research center. The main objective is to reach an open gap. During the stage, the life of Jodie and other important characters can be in mortal danger.

After you leave the conference room, go to talk to Ryan on the couch. The choices you make during this conversation have no meaning but, do whatever you see fit. Once you finish the conversation, Cole will appear and take you to Nathan's office.
Your former caretaker will hand you a new passport and the money from the CIA. Then he will ask you to render the information from his beloved ones. Agree to that and use Aiden's powers to make the spirits enter Jodie's body. After the session ends, you can leave to the corridor. You now need to go for the lift. Right in front of the lift door, your character will be knocked down and captured by soldiers.
After several short cutscenes, you will switch to Aiden . You can try to detach the IV drip, but the spirit is too weak to do that. He needs the help from the other people. First, fly upstairs and find Cole and Ryan sitting there. Knock down and damage various items to attract their attention. When they ask you to give them a sign, move one item and the men will get up from their chairs. You now need to lead them using the stream connecting the spirit with Jodie. To do that, keep moving the items along your way. Also, start the lift and chose level four. Thos way you will reach the guarded part of the facility.
Once the first attempt to walk by the guard fails, distract him by activating the telephone, and then change the data on the computer. To let your company know about success, use power on the lighting fitting in the floor. Inside the guarded part of the building, do as you did earlier. Keep destroying everything in your sight to lead the men to Jodie's room As soon as the girl is free, keep running after Cole and Ryan until you reach the condenser's control panel. Once you get there, it will turn out that the only way to close the rift is to initiate the auto destruction mechanism manually. To do that, you need to put on the portable field and go towards the big gate.
To prevent being captured by the entities, keep hiding behind the covers and always wait for the enemies to float away before you run ahead. Unfortunately, right before the exit, Cole will fall to the ground. You can either leave him behind for dead, or help him cross to the other side. If you decide on the latter, use Aiden's healing powers on him. This way you will save the man. Regardless of your choice, only you and Ryan will go for the condenser.
During this stage, you need to keep going towards the opened rift. Along your way, you will bump into Nathan who got lost. While talking to him, reference common sense and the man will commit suicide and join his family. A moment later, an attack will be launched by the entities. You need to dodge their attacks and press appropriate buttons, which appear on the screen. Once the fight is over, Ryan will give you back his belt and Jodie will set out towards the "black sun" on her own. To get there, follow the instructions appearing on the screen. Finally, you will face the necessity to choose between life and death. On what you choose, depends the course of the epilogue.
